I believe the last SNL I watched was one in late 1998 -- in which they portrayed Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee cutting off Democratic politicians' statements (the exact opposite of what actually happened) and referred to Rep. Bob Barr as a "weasel."

I might have stuck with it longer if they had enough talent in the cast to make it worth watching. Is Darrell Hammond still there? He's the only guy left who could make me laugh on that show.

I have said it before, I will say it again -- you know you have a lame comedy show if your go-to-guy for laughs is Will Ferrell. IMHO, that guy steals every buck he makes on the premise he is funny.

I must disagree, and I present as Exhibit A the infamous Blue Oyster Cult "Cowbell" sketch, starring Christopher Walken (who is much funnier than most people think).

We're waiting for that episode to run again so we can put this sketch (along with Centaur Porn) on our Stuff That Doesn't Suck tape.

I gotta have more cowbell, baby!
