Liberals need to control others to make themselves feel important, because in their heart of hearts, they know they are impotent to deal with reality.

Resurrecting this old thread because Jack Wheeler is on C-Span-2 right NOW giving a speech on this very subject.
4:30 am ET
I love how Cspan shows the interesting conservative events in the wee hours of the morning so they can say they covered them.
Speech
Why Liberals Are Incapable of Defending America
Accuracy in Media
Washington, District of Columbia (United States)
ID: 189338 - 10/13/2005 - 0:41 - $29.95
Wheeler, Jack, President, Freedom Research Foundation
Sorry I missed it.
However, I have to disagree with the programming bias you allude to. We both know C-SPAN has those tape machines going 24/7 and they are liable to pull just about anything off the shelf over time. Also, C-SPAN is on many world wide satellite systems and it's prime time some where all the time.

The speech was on again today at 12:31 P.M., and I swear I had nothing to do with it.
They're right on this - it's "unearned". Maybe if actors enjoyed their ill gotten gains (OK, I'm kidding on this part) they might be able to stop inflicting liberal guilt on the rest of us and go about their self absorbed narcissistic lives.
3 years old - but still a good read. Bump so that maybe some Liberal lurkers will happen upon it.
BTTT
Wow, oldie but goodie. 2002. I missed it the first time around.
It’s amazing how this just stays relevant.
I remember learning about Dobu in school.
A people profoundly paralysed by a toxic ‘magical envy’. Envy and Envy-avoidance filled their lives. May still do for all I know.
They also ate sweet potatoes. Dullard that I was, this was the only detail I picked up on at the time.
But in later life I’m increasingly aware that the Dobua aren’t an isolated example.
Certainly Is!
Leftist have their God in government.
