I was sitting here half listening and heard them both "get into it!" I thought he was a congressman. I saw his name on the screen with a "D" (democrat) after it and assumed that. Could be mistaken but enjoyed O'Reilly in his face telling him he is a politician and the overtones were that politicians don't act like him!

The guy was vicious, but a moron. O'Reilly's point is that separatism is destructive for blacks because it isolates them from the mainstream of America. He should have hammered this point home, but instead he lost his temper and went all over the place from Hitler to the Civil War to Malcolm X.
To: JohnPaulJones
O'Reilly didn't do a stellar job debating that lowlife. He should have gone farther into how Washington and Jefferson and the founding fathers grant councilman the rights and liberties that he enjoys as a United States citizen. He mentioned it but not enough. Also, he should have asked him how that guy would be living without the founding fathers.
Thats what happens when you put a moderate in to do a conservative's job, to embarrass that racist. I think Hannity would have done a better job and that's why Rush's and Sean's show will be better than O'Reilly's.

MAke sure you know his name... Charles Barson I think. I could only watch a few mins. off and on. I could not take too much of the insanity he spewed. Did he really compare George Washington to Hitler? Did I really hear that? Man I would hate to be a black american with a guy like that around. What an embarasment to the black community.

Hi folks, Saw it, shouted at it, kicked the TV, and called the guy several nasty things. What a freak these idiots are.

This is one of the things that really p#@&&s me off about O'Reilly. Why does he give this guy a platform? Does O'Reilly think this is cutting edge? Does he think this is "fair and balanced?" Maybe this sort of "guest" gives O'Reilly a chance to rant? Another night of FOX with NO OREILLY!!

Perhaps Bill believes that if he gives them enough rope they will hang themselves. I can believe that Black conservatives would like to be around that guy.
To: JohnPaulJones
I saw it all. I can't tell you his name, but that was the most enlightening display of
racism I have
ever seen in my 67 years!
To allow people with that attitude to foment hatred as much as that man did is a crime against all Americans!

No he in reply to O'Reilly basically saying that owning slaves was no big deal that it was not acceptable and asked if O'Reilly would be as blase about the holocaust.
Comparing injustices to minorities is not comparing Washington to Hitler. I thought he was a lunatic but let's not twist the context of what was said.

(Also posted to another thread about Brooklyn city manager removing portrait of George Washington):
This bastard on O'Reilly is no better than the nutcases running the madrasas(sp?) in the Middle East teaching kids nothing but hatred of Western culture and of any religion but Islam. He's setting up these kids to eventually do some really stupid things which will get a bunch of 'em killed.
People like this are the ones who are going to incite a race war in this country, and if they haven't looked, they're seriously outnumbered.

This is one of the things that really p#@&&s me off about O'Reilly. Why does he give this guy a platform? He wants to make idiot blacks look like idiot blacks.
I'm convinced C-SPAN has a conspiracy to make ALL blacks who call in look like raving, foam-at-the-mouth lunatics too.
That's how they look to me. Dumb, stupid, hateful and predictable.

O'Reilly told him that if he didn't like living in America to go somewhere else to live...ha ha The racist jerk said,"You can't tell me where to live!" What is happening to our country? You don't have to answer that, I already know. We all do.

I heard the guy say that owning slaves was WORSE than the Holocaust.
He NEVER said it was no big deal.
What were you listening to?

O'Reilly does a great service by exposing an elected black official who harbors deep hatred of America and of the white race. It is people like this that the democrats depend upon to be electorally competitive - they need essentially all the black vote, and they get it by stirring up racial hate and paranoia.

Heard Farrakahn lately. Get one of his newspapers. He wants Jihad and Farrakahn is a leader of millions of black muslims.

I don't know what all the hub-bub is really about and O'Reilly missed the main point: left to their own devices blacks produce nothing.

IMHO A comparasion is a comparasion. He brought up Hitler's name in refrence to his response to O'Reilly's remark about Washinton. O'Reilly says " So what that GW owned slaves"... Then the racist says, "would you say so what to the jews who were killed by Hitler". O'Reilly asks about the blacks who owned slaves and of course the racist does not say a word about Hitler then.
The pattern of thought shows that he believes the two share something.
I would love to hear what that racist would have to say about America after living as a black man in Africa. Too bad we can't find out.
