Thought they had to be alive. I just noticed a lot of people are posting dead people. How can dead people be the life of the party? And somebody posted Jesus....well of COURSE He would be there! He needs no invitation. Of course the blessing would serve as an invitation anyway. If dead people are fair game I'd have to add Shakespeare and Carroll O'Connor for sure.

Not politically correct. You have no Potawatomis on your list.

"George and Martha Washington (I'd love to hear his take on the last 200 years)" How much time are you willing to spend bringing him up to speed? I hear he's been a bit out of touch for a while and probably isn't too aware of the happenings over the last 200 years.
Inviting Edwin Newman or Walter Cronkite and seating them next to George would probably take care of that.

"I've never figured out why dead people only seem to vote for Democrats." Yes; I always found that puzzling too. Especially when they're dead Republicans

Steve Irwin! That's a damn good choice. He'd be a hoot. Hide the dog and cat, though.

Not to worry. We will put a Potawotamis on the N.Y.statue of the three firemen raising the Flag. I mean if the three firemen were white but the statue will have a black and a hispanic, why not an American Indian???
To: fish hawk
And a bison in the statue too! Now I'm happy.

"Steve Irwin! That's a damn good choice. He'd be a hoot. Hide the dog and cat, though." ROTFL! I always thought he'd be somebody I'd like to meet. Can you imagine the stories he could tell?!
