He committed the cardinal sin of being a Republican. For a liberal, there is nothing worse than that.
I thought they allowed you out for the entire weekend.
Since you ask, you are guilty of promoting the Enron-Bush linkage.
There really wasn't one until you posted this vanity.
This is looking more and more like a sick kind of desperation by the DemonRats. This is more of the stuff that was going on in 1994 after the Repubs got the majority in Congress.
The DemonRats have no plan, they're in disarray. Their only option is to go negative. The other side is mean, evil, and wants to take away everything you own and give it to some rich guy. All they can do is sling mud because they have no agenda to offer beyond the status quo.
Bush was wrong to have caved into publically funding existing stem cell lines from embryos--innocent defenseless human beings--harvested like crops. The reasoning that the lines had been duplicated didn't make the original source any less abhorrent, immoral, and disgusting. He waffled and chose to placate both sides.
They know what the USSR indoctrinators knew, that inculcation will in time cause some people to believe their crap. Fortunately, most of those stupid enough to believe it are their own party comrades.
I'll give them more time than that. I've got spare time. I'm sure we'll start seeing articles in Time (and other "news-magazines") that have sensationalistic titles and detail some weird convoluted connection between Bush and Enron.
It's their classic tactic: Voice the accusation of conservative evil in a headline while the article is a bunch of convoluted garbage that doesn't say anything at all. The average reader of Time magazine won't read beyond the first two paragraphs of vague accusations because their attention span is too short and the reading too advanced.
Be patient, God isn't finished with Bush or others, yet.
"Now, if politics is like that,
I don't want any part of it." Chad Condit
You are joking, of course? Yes he has handled his "police action" well, But, I'm more concerned about what he does on the home front.
He just signed an education bill into law which he admits he didn't read. He's given billions to the airline industry after 9-11 (5 Bill was a GRANT) and they still laid off thousands of people. Where was the Prez when they did that?
Be careful of following any politician blindly. That's how dictaores are made.
After one year, you can say he is the greatest in our history? What do you base that analysis on?
FTR, I worked for Sen Goldwater in '64 to the point of going door to door to gather Republican voters and was responsible for getting 53 new registers. I re-registered as an independant after rhe liberal eastern wing of the party (gov scranton, PA & rockefeller) destroyed Goldwater's candidancy. I also voted for Pres Reagan twice, but, I have not voted for either Bush nor did I vote for gore.
OH WAIT YOU SAID WRONG DIDNT YOU?
UMMMMMMMM LEMMY THINK ABOUT IT ill get back to you !
NO PROBLEM!!!!
The liberals are extremely gleeful thinking he is like Bubba. But they are really going to look partisan and EVIL for trying to bring down a good man. You know,.. President Bush Sr. was a good President. That something so simple as "No new taxes" could lose the presidency for him to Billie boy Clinton,.. is still just mind boggling. But we all saw what we got. A smooth talker.. who couldn't walk the walk. Our Military is making sure their sentiments are being felt regarding the CURRENT Commander in Chief. They love the heck out of him..and are willing to lay down their lives for him and this country. We really needed a man like him. It was getting really down in the dumps in the military. But not anymore :o)
This story will end up being about a bunch of crooks, who could have had a good relationship with the President. But found out that friendships mean NOTHING to President Bush when it comes to the law. The President doesn't mess around when it comes to carrying out the law. Just ask one Carla Faye Tucker.
Enron, made the mistake of thinking President Bush was going to help out like Clinton and Brown did. Again..... BIG mistake. These guys are going to jail. Trust me on this one. Ashcroft has already reclused himself. Smart move,..don't want an inkling of impropriaty. The ethics of this administration will prevail. Justice will be done..and others will know better than to try to repeat the same thing.
President Bush and his abled Cabinet and staff,.. have their hands full. God Bless them!!! They are busier than He**... but they will get it done right. I have total faith in them.
