QALAYE NIAZI, Afghanistan -- No one can be found to tell this story firsthand. There is disagreement from those who live nearby about the details of the bombing.

But what is clear is that where a small village once stood in the arid plains of east-central Afghanistan, there is little left but torn clothing, piles of brick, pieces of human flesh and hair, and a substantial stockpile of small-arms ammunition.

Come on guys, picking apart his English, conjugation, punctuation and syntax just makes us look bad. Take on his argument, not him personally.

how many dozens or less of innocents have mistakenly been killed?!!?

You watch CNN, right ?

Even the Wahington Post would open you eyes:

The chairman of CNN has ordered his staff to balance images of civilian devastation in Afghan cities with reminders that the Taliban harbors murderous terrorists, saying it "seems perverse to focus too much on the casualties or hardship in Afghanistan."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A14435-2001Oct30.html

By 6 th of December about 3700 civilians were killed by US bombs... http://cursor.org/stories/civilian_deaths.htm

And not counting those who dying of cold and hunger by the 100 a day because noone looking after the refugee camps and it aleady were bad harvest last year and as usual the US killed the whole infrastructure there is no clean water, transport not to mention medicines...

And the Pentagon did not even made an attempt to count its victims, every other claims just get dismissed with the 'can not independently confirm' mantra

So what is my nationality ?

I know that one need to pass a simple exam of English to get an USA citizenship - together with some geneticly glorified history and some part of the Bill of Rights ( freedom of speech rings a bell?)- But I seen no any exam test to qualify to posting on 'freerep'. Or are the facts what I writing here is become uncomfortable ?

I don't have time to go to your site right now, but what I do know is that just about every single report of massive casualties was subsequently debunked as propaganda. Considering how many HUNDREDS of TONS of bombs we have dropped over there, even the (likely false) number of 3700 innocent casualties is incredibly, unbelievebly luckily low. Besides, if there were thousands upon thousands of innocents being killed over there, don't you think our liberal media (that hate Bush) would be all over it? They have tried and tried and just about every report of civilian casualties turns up false.

Didn't we start dropping humanitarian aid before we started dropping bombs? Haven't we dropped HUNDREDS of TONS of humanitarian aid over the last three months? Yes, we have. Right now, hundreds, if not thousands of our troops are busy working over there with the refugees. American citizens have sent MILLIONS of dollars in aid (I myself contributed some) to the refugee situation in Afghanistan. I have read reports that it is not nearly as bleak as you paint it and is that way BECAUSE of the efforts of AMERICANS!

Come on. You don't really expect people to have a serious debate with that barking dog do you? He's only worth tossing a stick or two at in order to laugh at his "brave" little yapping, anonymously behind a fence.

Surely you recognize when a person's beyond rational discourse. Some of his comments can't be arrived at by honest mistakes in reasoning. Do you know of the concept of "inherently dishonest" ideas?

His obvious personal problems overshadow anything worthwhile he might have had to say. Seriously addressing something credible buried in his mad rant is impossible in these circumstances. It's like painting with watercolors in the rain, or negotiating peace when one side refuses to stop fighting.

If you reed the article you find out that it was a wedding a night before the bombs killed the whole vilage... So the casualties are high because the guests come from many places.

I thought that it were the communists who wanted to kill all the rich people... Or I was asleep when the USA declared the proletar dictature ?

Who is not with us then he is against us...

Correct, Mr. Hole.

In this case you have to count on about 5 billion al Qaeda supporters...

You can't count very well either, but just for sake of argument... We can kill 'em all, but I don't think our bloodthirsty Marines can eat that many at one sitting.

Hmmmm, yes but in one month of Afghan against Afghan fighting over 50,000 civilians were killed.

With US weapons, training and finance... They left the country saturated with guns... Since you mention...

US pumped money and arms to Aghanistan for a decade to crash the Soviets without the slightest concern of the Afghan people. Once they did the job they were disposed by the US just like a plastc razorblade...

With US help the legit government had been replaced with drugtrafficing criminals who wrecked havoc to the country for years, they were so bad that the Afghans found that even the Taliban were better than them.

Now the US putting back the same guys to the neck of the Afghans... Remember: the Taliban banned the opium growing, the Northern Alliance, the latest friends of the US already started to get bookings for the next year harvest...

Not to worry anyway, by the end of the winter the 50.000 dead will be surpassed - thanks for the US help. Technology can do great things.

If only your marines were bloodthursty....

But 90% of the Americans were screaming for REVENGE.

Then Bush appointed a Jemeni born Saudi as Enemy No1 and Started to bomb Afghanistan to keep the public happy...

Does not metter who's blood as long it can flows in rivers thousands of miles away... Then the public will be happier for Christmas...

You avoid barking dogs too... 10.000 feet high in the sky

Hmmmm. Interesting that you use a period as a radix in the number. You've badly misspelled some pretty basic words, too.

Where are you from?

Well... Maybe in the US it looks heretic, unorthodox, politically incorrect and weird to use the period/dot/fullstop/decimal-point as digit groupping symbol and carries immediate death sentence, but in the rest of the world there is a relative freedom of usage allowed of the punctuation marks. You can also check yourself if you have the curage and get into your Control Panel and Regional Settings...

Oooops... Now you will find that there are countries with different date-formats.... God save them from bombing now!!Because the CIA will think they trying to encript something, therefore they are all terrorists...

Where am I from ? ... I was born and grown up in Hungary. Something made me think that there is life on the other side of the iron curtain. So I took a look... Travelled a lot all over Europe, many times in the US, spend some time in Germany, Holland, over 10 years in Great Britain, and now I live in France.(hence my never perfect English quickly deteroriated)

I do belive that the 'bill of rights' is a great thing, but it is a shame that is banned in America.

I was under the impression that this is a 'political' dicussion forum, but despite all of my efforts people more intersting in the sate of my mind, international punctuation settings and my ethnic origins than politics. Or it is politically incorrect asking about the victims of US bombings in Afghanistan ?

I would suspect that in the light that the WTC could house about 80.000 people when it is full, you were dancing out of joy because the number of 3000 innocent casualties is incredibly, unbelievebly luckily low compared to what it could had been...

Have you ever tryed to go public with this view ?

You might try really understanding history before you try to re-write it. Today the UN stated that the humanitarian catrastrophy has been averted and that food is getting in far better then they ever hoped. As to the weapons in Afghanistan, those weren't just US weapons you know. Of course you know, but that won't deter you, to people like you it's always America's fault.

Had we stayed and tried to establish a stable government, you'd be the first to call us "Imperialists" wouldn't you?

Hey News, how do you explain all those happy faces in Afghanistan?

"The innocent dead in a coward's war "

http://www.guardian.co.uk/afghanistan/story/0,1284,622000,00.html

If you have the curage read this. The Guardian is a mainstream British newspaper, quite conservative one. Your allies... You can imagine the rest of Europe... Shall I not mention the Asian press ? If you keep on insist to only see the Censored News Network, then do not get suprised that

If you want to open your eyes get on the cursor.com, where is a selecion of maistream American and European media what slipped through the censorship.

There you find the faces are not so happy.
