too late here, my grandson born 10-26-01 had this shot.....now Im worried!
I asked the Doc before if it was necessary and she said it was NOW normal procedure with newborns...she looked at me as though I was an old worried grandmother who knew nothing about taking care of babies...she even made a snide remark about things being a lot different than 25 years ago!

The look-at-you-as-though-(whatever) technique must be taught in Medical schools to deal with people who have questions you don't have a really good answer for.

Mrs. LantzALot tried for years to convince her daughters that indiscriminate injections were not good. and met with that look. When something actually happened to one of ours (see post 9, above,) she was able to get some information from a former talk show host to help get her daughter some compensation. Even though there is a government program established to handle just such goofs, it is still almost impossible to get anything.

I guess your doc figures that alot of new borns these days are into I.V. drug use and sodomy. did you ask you doc about the kick backs they get from the vaccine maker for each dose they inject? schools also get kick backs from the government for each child they have enrolled that has their vaccines. for any help on any vaccine issues check this web site

It is also normal precedure to sue doctors for malpractice when they give advice that injures a patient.

My grandson was born 10/16/01 he has had 5 vaccines already. FOUR, I repeat FOUR at one time. THey made him quite ill. It took his mom nearly all day to reduce his 102 temp with cool baths and baby tylenol. He was still sick over Christmas from the after effects. There is NO reason to give FOUR shots at once to a baby under three months old. Poor little guy got one in each arm and one in each leg. I'm beginning to dislike baby docs and the politicians that mandate this crap.
