Correct, however, it has been my experience that the teachers conciously subvert the parents values. Being from CA, you ought to see that clearly.
But only stupid parents allow that to happen.

Your moving graphics are very irritating.
I don't see anything irritating about the graphics. Get over it.

Good call.

This person was really messed up obviously. His mindset was caused by many things. I am not going to try to understand his homelife but I can begin to understand what he was taught in the Pinellas County School System. They start teaching you things about self-esteem, positive action, and PC stuff from the first day you walk into kindergarten. This is continued throughout your education in Pinellas County. By the time most of the students are in high school they are liberals. And based on what I hear from around the country it's the same everywhere else. The only other thing I can add is I am so glad this kid doesn't go to my school.

The gas is all in the wings, and my guess is that neither wing made it into the building. There was a report yesterday that stated the wings were sheered off on impact and fell into the street where luckily there wasn't much pedestrian traffic due to the weekend and no one was hurt.
The kid didn't know his craft.

Liberal excuse makers to the rescue!

Thanks for the ping. This is truly unbelievable. I'm curious to this kids upbringing. Has Islam replaced Satanism and Wiccanism as the "religion" of choice for all the whackos in this country. I didn't approve of the other two, but at least they didn't promote death and violence.

...Holder said Bishop was a loner with few friends, and that the boy wrote that he acted alone.. I wonder if the rest of the kids at school called him Pip.

In general though, the 15 year old felt sympathy toward Usama and was in support of 9/11 terrorist attack on America.Aw yes, another product of the Socialist Education Cartel.

"Your moving graphics are very irritating."
I found that remark odd since I get many FReepers telling me they REALY like it.
I also have FReepers requesting that I put it on different threads every day.
Sorry if it bothers you, but the requests I get to use this particular graphic
outnumber your one lone voice complaining about it.

That's exactly why we homeschool. Besides, even if the teacher isn't consciously subverting values, the curriculum is.

My vote for continuing media outrage of the century is the absolute refusal to seriously discuss the social disaster engendered by children growing up without what liberals dismiss as the "Ozzie and Harriet" family. Exactly right! I just read a great book of essays, Modern Sex, ed. by Myron Magnet, that breaks it down chapter and verse.

Check your self-search.

"Is there a web site that allows you to search for a email address of a particular serviceman?"
Not for their e-mail address, but you might try www.vetsrollcall.com or www.military.com to locate him.

Nature abhors a vacuum. I think many people have made the mistake of thinking that namby-pamby 'ethics' would be bulwark enough against the forces of evil in the world and human nature. Most humans hunger for assurance of the deepest questions in life, and children that don't get that can be prey to others that purport to offer it.
I think the best thing you can do for a kid is take them to Sunday School. They may think they are rebeling later, but they still have the core to uphold them in bad times and tempting times and confusing times.
To: Austim
Actually, this kid is not an American citizen... he's British. And we know nothing of his parent's political leanings... therefore, there's really no point to be made about his parents/upbringing and the general political climate of Tampa.
To: Austim
Tampa is represented by a DEMOCRAT. Jim Davis.
