For 'Buddy,' the Clintons just couldn't spare a dime So Buddy's dead. Socks they gave away. Has anyone seen Chelsea?. . . . . .
Another funny! I wonder how many "Buddy" stories we'll see, anyway? :o)

Heck, they only had Chelsea because an advisor told them to. Why should their decision to get a dog be any less cold-blooded.

Has P.E.T.A. issued a statement about this yet?

What is it with the previous "leaders" of the executive branch and dogs? Remember this story from a few years back about Al Gore's neglected dog:
Paul Harvey, June 22 1994
A secret service agent guarding VP Gore's house alerted the Humane Society when he noticed a growling and snarling dog underneath the VP's porch. Upon arrival, the HS vet ordered an immediate operation for the dog, which was suffering from a maggot infestation in one of its haunches due to an unattended open wound. The dog turned out to be the Gore family pet.

I feel genuinely sad about the death of Buddy the dog. I do not care one bit for his ostensible owners. Buddy was a better being than Bill and Hill could ever hope to aspire to becoming.

So Buddy's dead. Socks they gave away. Has anyone seen Chelsea? I tell ya, it's those Bush tax cuts for the rich that are to blame!

Was this an accident or a suicide?

The writer asked if anyone had seen Chelsea, and I guess anyone who has stood in a supermarket checkout lane in the past few days has seen pictures of young Chelsea. I'm sure those tabloids must have ways to doctor photos to make people look like they are having a little too much fun (for Floridians, that is a " euphemism."

Is it true that Bill Clinton is sending Algore to the funeral in his place since he is busy "working for the American people"???

We taxpayers paid for Chlesea's nanny ..she was one of the 'White House Staff",It is my guess there was no "dog sitter" the agents "protecting " the property no doubt had as part of their taxpayer funded duties to throw a dish of food in front of the dog and let it out a couple times a day.
The Clintons are "Plastic" people..heartless shells. Buddy was the only thing capable of love in that house!

What happened to Buddy is precisely what can be expected to happen to a dog when it's meant to be little more than a pawn in its owners' continuing attempts to impersonate human beings.Oooh, ouch!

Buddy was the nicest animal in the Clinton family.

This ran in The INQUIRER? The PHILADELPHIA Inquirer?
Man oh man, I had heard rumors that their circulation had dropped to the basement, but they must be desperate for readership to print such a delicious piece.
Between Greta on Fox and Keyes on MSNBC and now this piece in The Inquirer - I don't know, maybe the evangelicals are right - these must indeed be the end times. Lions are lying down with lambs all over the place!

But notice how, in contradistinction to the mischievous Bush daughters, this kid was a stellar child; she never made a wrong move. Yeah right Julia. If she wasn't a stellar child, you wouldn't have reported it.
The Clintons went after anyone that wrote anything about the kid in a premptive jihad against the media. Remember George Stepahnopoulis and how he described his job as going to war against the media to suppress embarassing stories?
But then again, the Inky gave Juanita Broaddrick two column inches in the Sunday paper which basically dismissed her allegations. While in the same "Editorial Section" has a quarter page by Jane Eisner on how high heels oppress women.
Sheesh.

I found this yesterday; they DO have a fence; I was positive we had paid for it!! I suspect that the Secret Service is stationed there. Now I really wonder how he got out.

Forget poor buddy, godlove'im. Here's my dilemma. We have a wonderful choc lab. A better dog does not exist. 2+ years and the most beautiful animal you could lay eyes upon. Did I say he is great? Ok enough accolades. He's a family dog although my older son wants to call him "his" dog.
Ok, so we've been toying with getting a female (choc lab, of course) to be his mate and all that. This past weekend, my 9 year old daughter went and visited a place where she spent the whole day with a litter of 6 week old pups. I guess they're pugs or jack russells or that size kind of dog. They're probably a mix of some kind. Anyway she fell in love and cannot stop thinking about this (male) pup. She says she doesn't care about it not being a choc. lab. This is her dog. She can FEEL it. This is the dog she's been waiting for. She KNOWS it. She told him she would be back for him.
Sheesh. Any words of wisdom out there for us?
