Have we grown so calloused that such accusations roll off like water off of a ducks back?
Have the Clinton years reset the index level of outrage?

Unfortunately, there is alot more truth in those statements than you might think.
Good article, though.

harpseal has the right of it- total, absolute corruption. It will take years ( if ever ) to purge the clinton-appointed rot from all of the federal gov't. One of many reasons he should never have been elected, re-elected, or left in office after impeachment.

If you follow any of my postings around FR, what I shall now post will not surprise you:
A nation that shrugs its shoulders at a daily mass murder rate for human babies that surpasses the death toll of 9-11 is a nation that is too self-interested worry about accusations like those in this article.
Too, the years of lucipher's own pervert, x42, and his photo-op spouse, Mrs. x42, also produced a numbness about such accusations in our nation.

I am not one of those conservatives that believes everything in the Bush camp is good. I thought Ashcroft would be excellent, but there are some issues where I feel he could be better. Frankly, the current government isn't conservative enough for me. I want the EPA gone. I want the US out of the UN, and vice versa. I want the Constitution strictly upheld and the "shall not be infringed" part of the 2nd amendment ahered to. I want Clinton et al invetigated properly and charged for treason and murder. I want the US to start bombing IRAQ, and any other country involved. That's just a start....

This is the way DC runs regardless of who is in power. They will always cover for themselves as well as big business.Their is something about the Presidents that wont allow them to go after each other. Also Bush will cover for Clinton the way they did his dad.We no longer have statesmen, we have all politicians in DC. The whole political system in this country from bottom to top is corrupt.

Thanks for the ping....O'Reilly proscribes to the idea that the 'powerful protect the powerful' so he thinks this is what Ashcroft is doing for Reno but the final score isn't in yet....
I'm willing to be a bit more patient. I have a hunch that a lot will be coming out during the investigations into why the 9-11 attacks happened as well as during the JEB/Reno race for FL governor.

Thanks for the ping. It's time for some accountability in the DOJ.

"Have the Clinton years reset the index level of outrage" Yes they did, that set a new much lower standard for actions against higher Gov. people. Ashcroft is running on the same low line and I have lost all respect for him.

What makes you think that all of a sudden the government is going to be honest and own up to the truth. The US government is the largest criminal organization in the world. You think, with great naievte, that the people we elect to serve in government are honest an upstanding, they are not and it is time that we accept that fact. I have no solution except that we must remove the people in government and eliminate the laws that these people have passed.
