hi exodus
I can't go along with you on that
John Ashcroft is a fine decent man
clinton's DOJ was corrupt
President Bush's AG is not corrupt

Well said. Unoriginal but catchy.

we may be "casting our pearls before the swine."Man, am I glad that you identified me as a troll. Thank you.

How true, how true! Some posters think that voting by itself will control corruption to acceptable levels. I disagree
That is not true ... yes voting is one way .. in fact there are many ways .. but stating another revolution .. well that is not the answer

Hey Great.
Anybody remember the phone number for Hessians Are Us?
A great little "private sector" outfit.
Wonder whatever happened to them?

They were mercenary, true,
but they were also military.
"Military" is one thing government is good at.
Government thrives on the use of force
against it's own citizens, or any other citizen,
for that matter.

hi exodus
I think slick willy was a criminal
I think President Bush is a kind decent person who is making a mistake
(by not bringing the clinton corruption to Law)
those are not the same thing

Article 1 ... gives Congress the power to coin money. The Federal Reserve Act gave that power to a private company.Gowannnnnnn. Which private company? You mean they've gone and sold off the U.S. Mints?

Dakmar and exodus my friends, it seems that we may be "casting our pearls before the swine." That's what it looks like to me anyway.Oh well, they'll find out soon enough, they just wearin out their grinders, eatin goober peas

The Federal Reserve Act was, and is, un-Constitutional.Are we talking about the U.S. Constitution? Should we notify Chairman Greenspan?
To: catpuppy
Are all those government workers and public servants evil? Which post of mine did I say or insinuate that?
I don't like power vested in government or groups. I like power, Rights, and their corresponding responsibilities vested in individuals. I don't like big government and I don't like big corruption in big government. I obviously have a different philosophy about concepts like government, compelled performance, force, Rights, etc. than you do. That is okay. Yours is more mainstream -- mine is more extreme. Yours is more what IS -- mine is more what, I believe, the Constitution intended.
Catpuppy, my opinions are not uninformed. I have thought long and hard about what kind of world I would like to live in and leave behind for my loved ones. My opinions are based on my life's experiences, as I'm sure yours are. We just do not happen to share the same world viewpoint. Please don't feel threatened or put-off in any way by my posts. I am not trying to change your mind or convince you of anything.

the mistake of not bringing the clinton corruption to Law
has resulted in me leaving the GOP
I don't want to vote again
(unless I vote Libertarian)
and will have repercussions

I have to disagree, lovely palo.
John Ashcroft has refused to cooperate
with Dan Burton's Congressional Oversite Committee.
He is refusing to turn over evidence relevant to an investigation
into the criminal actions of Clinton and the Justice Department.
When Janet Reno did that, Freepers said that she was corrupt.
How can Ashcroft do the same thing Reno did, but not be corrupt?

they just wearin out their grinders, eatin goober peasAh, what happened to the guy who went from "may God Bless" to "who gives A CRAP?" from one post to the next? The instantaneous change in tone was so invigorating.
To: exodus
How very cute.Sorry, I won't take your bait.
To: malador
Exactly right! Why can a group of people who are where they are because they told enough lies and half truths to get elected, do what no other group of people can do on their own and not go to jail when they're caught? Those people are in office because The People put them there .. It's called VOTING
