I have to disagree, lovely palo.

John Ashcroft has refused to cooperate
with Dan Burton's Congressional Oversite Committee.

He is refusing to turn over evidence relevant to an investigation
into the criminal actions of Clinton and the Justice Department.

When Janet Reno did that, Freepers said that she was corrupt.
How can Ashcroft do the same thing Reno did, but not be corrupt?

we just had a gangster in Office
who sought to help gangster interests
who tried to slick us out of our democracy
and undo our Rule of Law
we experienced absolute corruption
I don't support President Bush's decision not to bring any of this to Law
but I'd be a nutcase to call President Bush anything in the same universe as the thug who ran our government before him
What President Bush is doing (I think) is putting the interests of his Party above the Law
This is not the same as slick willy who ran the goverment as a criminal enterprise solely to aggrandize power to himself
