BUCHANAN DECLARES: DEATH OF THE WEST

The New Year is just minutes old and now comes Pat Buchanan to warn: The Death of the West!

In his ultracontroversial book, which will be banned, blocked and burned in many quarters, brave Buchanan contends that the U.S. will be a Third World nation by the year 2050.

The BestSellingAuthorTVHostPresidentialCandidateColumnist predicts Europe will be inundated by an Islamic-Arab-African invasion and most First World nations, including Japan, will have begun slowly to vanish from the earth.

Buchanan is primed and ready for a media blitz behind DEATH OF THE WEST [ranked #492 on AMAZON's hourly sales chart Wednesday morning], set for release from DUNNE.

Buchanan will light the bonfire on NBC's TODAY show this Friday, according to a network source.

But the DRUDGE REPORT can once again bring you the first sneak.

Relying upon the most recent UN population studies, Buchanan declares:

• By 2050, only 10% of the world’s people will be of European descent. One third of Europe’s people will be over 60, and one-in-ten over 80. Involuntary euthanasia has already come to Europe.

• Between now and 2050, Asia, Africa, and Latin America will grow by three to four billion people -- 30 to 40 new Mexicos! -- as Europe will lose the equivalent of the entire population of Germany, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

• By 2050, 23 million Germans will have disappeared along with 16 million Italians and 30 million Russians.

• Russia will lose Siberia and the far east to China and be pushed out of the Caucuses and Central Asia, where Islamic populations are exploding while Russia’s is dying.

• Either Europe must effect a radical cutback in pensions and health care for seniors, or Europe must import scores of millions of Arabs and Africans to care for the elderly and pay the taxes to sustain their welfare states.

• The 4.2 million Palestinians in Israel and on the West Bank and Gaza will explode to 9 million by 2025, and 15 million by 2050, when Palestinians will outnumber Israel’s Jewish population two-to-one.

• America’s “Dual Containment” policy in the Persian Gulf seems unsustainable. In less than 25 years, Iraq will have 42 million people and Iran 94 million people, more than any European nation except Russia.

• The Islamic invasions of Spain and France in the eighth century, and of the Balkans and Central Europe from the 14th to the 17th centuries, will be reenacted in the lifetime of most of those now living. Islam has already surpassed Catholicism as the largest religion on earth.

• It is the Christian nations -- Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox -- that have begun to die. In a chapter titled, “Where Have All the Children Gone?” Buchanan explains why, and why it is unlikely the West can solve the demographic crisis before it leads to The Death of the West.

In his chapter La Reconquista, Buchanan contends that an invasion of the United States is taking place and that America now harbors a “nation within a nation.”

• There are 30 million foreign born in the U.S. today, and between 9 and 11 million illegal aliens, or as many undocumented aliens in the U.S. as there are people in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

• Mexico is exporting its poor and unemployed for U.S. taxpayers to employ and educate. Radical and militant Hispanics and Mexican leaders alike believe this will lead to the cultural and demographic recapture of the Southwest from America, reversing the results of The Mexican War.

• By supporting open borders, the GOP is committing suicide. First-time Hispanic voters chose Clinton 15-1 over Dole. Of the seven major immigration states -- Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Texas and Florida -- Mr. Bush lost five, and perhaps six. Of the 10 states with the smallest share of immigrants, Bush won all 10.

• European-Americans are a minority in America’s most populous state, California, and by 2004, will be a minority in Texas.

• The political agenda of California Hispanics includes race welfare for illegal aliens, racial preferences, bilingual education, open borders, dual citizenship, Cinqo de Mayo as a California holiday, and, in one case, replacing a statue of an American hero of the Mexican War with the Aztec god Quetzacoatl.

• White Americans are fleeing California at the rate of 100,000 a year.

• MeCHA, the student organization that claims chapters on hundreds of campuses has a program that reads like a Mexican version of the agenda of the white-supremacist Aryan Nation.

• In 2001, an Office for Mexicans Abroad in Mexico was providing survival kits with everything from dried meat to anti-diarrhea pills to condoms to Mexicans setting off to break in to the United States .

• As of 2000, there were 8.4 million foreign born in California, as many foreign born as there are people in New Jersey, a primary cause of the state energy and schools crisis.

• Among Third World immigrants, poverty rates and incarceration rates are double and triple what they are among native-born Americans.

Shooting up the flares and waving the flag, Buchanan argues that the 1960s “counter-culture” has become America’s dominant culture, and the iconoclasts of that counter-culture are systematically demolishing America’s history and heritage.

• Under Political Correctness, America’s greatest heroes -- soldiers, explorers and statesmen from Columbus to George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson -- are under savage attack as genocidal racists and exploiters of indigenous peoples.

• The history books of American public schools are being rewritten with the old heroes ignored or trashed and Western civilization disparaged and demeaned.

• When Mel Gibson’s film, “The Patriot,” came out in 2000, it was savagely attacked for presenting black Americans as fighting patriots in the Revolutionary War.

• With the assault on Confederate books, symbols, flags, heroes, and holidays almost complete, the attack is now proceeding against the Puritan fathers, soldiers who fought in The Mexican War, and, in New Jersey, even against the Declaration of Independence itself.

• In some school districts, Mark Twain, Flannery O’Connor, and any realistic portrayal of the America South, including Harper’ Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, are now forbidden.

• Even the great museums on America’s Mall, to introduce school children to the greatness and glory of America’s past, are being used to indoctrinate children in how wicked and evil our forefathers were.

In his chapter, “The De-Christianization of America,” Buchanan argues that the death of the Christian faith in Western countries is a primary cause of their dying populations. Whenever faith dies, the people die. A new atheistic civilization is arising, he argues, and is using its dominance of the culture and the courts to drive Christianity out of the temples of our civilization.

• Secular Humanism, widely mocked and disparaged, a few decades ago, is now the dominant faith of the nation’s cultural elites. The moral tenets of humanism are replacing those of Christianity in our public life.

• Even Christian churches are rewriting their hymnals to make them acceptable to the dominant culture.

• Anti-Catholic films and filthy and blasphemous anti-Christian art are the deliberate insults of a triumphant pagan and secularist faith.

The book's publication was delayed after September terror.

I think it is important to learn to tell the forest from the trees--hyper libertarian individualists focus too much on the trees rather than seeing the overall impact the forest has on America.

I am convinced most hyper libertarian individualists won't see the errors of their ways until immigrants start setting up their enclaves right on their property cutting off their magnificent views of the ocean. Until they are directly effected in a deleterious way the problem is someone else's problem to be ignored.

Repatriation of all 30 million foreign born, not just the Cubans, is the way to go. Besides, isn't it time Miami looked like America again--we've loaned it to Cuba for 40 years now. How to do it--Constitutional amendment--check out the lawyer James O. Pace's book, "Amendment to the Constitution."

I'd rather not buy a book from the Institute for Historial Review, thank you very much. Holocaust deniers aren't my cup of tea.

I think you have hit on a good idea. Stop all immigration until we have something sane and enforceable sorted out. I think we are all hoping to pass down to our children and all new immigrants the knowledge and responsibility that the Constitution demands.

This is not happening with the immigration policy we have now and the attack on us 9-11 has brought that fact home to us. There are far too many immigrants in this nation that come right out and say, "I am a (fill in the country) living in America", this is a dangerous statement indicating no allegiance to nor care for the future of this nation or it's citizens. They do not care nor do they feel they have a stake in what happens to America, some even go so far as to say that while they love the freedom America affords them, they would like to see everyone under Islamic law, good Lord. Their attitude appears to be, if this falls apart I will just go home.

We should not even consider taking in the worlds population just because they want to come here for a better economic life, it's insane and suicidal. I compare it to someone borrowing money from you that has no intention of paying it back. Their guilt for taking what is yours, what they know they are not entitled to, causes them to hate you and behave as though they are the ones that have been wronged, when the truth is they just hate you because through your innocent act of trying to help them, you have created a feeling they hate you for, guilt. A huge number of them don't want to be Americans, do not consider themselves American, and even hate America while benefiting from it. When this is compounded by sleezy politicians waiting for them the second they arrive, downing the native population as racists out to keep them from their share of the pie, we have what we have now, Balkanization.

Some day the lid is going to blow off this stew pot of competing interests and I doubt it will be because of the native population. I can easily foresee trouble develop between a growing Latino population and a growing Muslim population and the political influence both will try to purchase with either votes or oil money, with everyone else caught in the middle.

We have been called by the world, the great experiment, well I don't know about you, but I never agreed to be experimented on. There are people here on FR that will tell you just how much they despise you for even claiming that there is a native culture in the USofA. If you do not agree to go along with the lie that we all arrived here last week and that we are all therefore immigrants you are not their new best friend. While culture is a nice thing to have it may not last, but the most important part of it must last, that being the Constitution that we hope to pass down wheather or not people in 2050 celebrate Sinco De Mio or Ramadan they must realize and care about the importance of the document that makes America, America.

I think a stop to immigration until some questions applied to new immigrants about where their loyalties are going to lie and what they hope to contribute is a sound idea whose time has come. Our government has to stop being the major corporation in America who seems to think the population can easily be exchanged for new worker bees. This is our home and they would be smart to start remembering that it is.

Blue-Collar Middle-Class is a thing of the past.

It's starting to look like that ---too bad because the middle class is what made the US strong. We'll become like all third world countries where some have most of the money and the majority work for dirt just like it is in Mexico. At least if you get to the elite class you have all the servants you could want that way.

The costs to employers is low which is why they hire them or move the jobs elsewhere if possible. This is why markets are hated by would-be know-it-alls - they are unflinchingly honest about what people really value and how much they really value it.

Blue-Collar Middle-Class is a thing of the past

That's because the children and grnadchildren of those unionized factory workers went to college and are now (for the most part) making a good living in the white collar world. Think about it: are there any poor Italian or Polish Americans anymore? Are there any "ghetto" enclaves made up of the children of blue collar workers?

#624:

Irv Rubin, bomb making Jewish Defense League leader, is a proud member of the Libertarian Party

"I was recently taken aback when I read this item in the national Libertarian Party News: Jewish Defense League leader signs up with LP.

I was shocked. They couldn't be talking about Irv Rubin, could they? Unfortunately, that is exactly who they were talking about.

Irv Rubin is the International Chairman of the Jewish Defense League (JDL). I met Rubin in 1972. A political activist friend introduced us with the hope that Rubin could recruit me into the JDL. I am Jewish, and did not know much about the JDL, and I was genuinely interested.

I am not going to pretend to remember the exact words Rubin and I exchanged 28 years ago. But I do recall his emphasis on offensive violence as an integral part of the JDL's activities. I am not a pacifist, and I have never been opposed to using force to defend oneself. However, it was clear to me that Rubin was talking about going beyond defense. He explained that the tactics of "our enemies" justify the use of preemptive violence. And he explained that the hate speech of anti-Semites and racists justified the use of force, that their very speech was in fact an aggression against Jews. When he sensed my resistance to this kind of talk, he assured me that the JDL had many other activities which were completely legal and political in nature. I declined the offer to join the JDL.

In 1973 I joined the Libertarian Party. I served as a National Committee member, California State Director, and candidate and campaign manager numerous times. I am still a life member of the LP, but I am no longer registered LP. I still consider myself to be a libertarian with strongly held beliefs and, as Webmaster of Antiwar.com and LewRockwell.com, consider myself an activist in the libertarian movement. I still read much of the LP's literature, have many friends and associates in the LP, often even vote Libertarian. I also subscribe to the LP's internal email discussion list.

Earlier this month Justin Raimondo wrote a column explaining why he was not voting for the LP this year. In the column he talked about the LP's promotion of Rubin's entrance into the LP.

The key issue that brought Rubin to the LP was opposition to gun control. In the LP News article, Rubin stated that he agreed with most of the party's positions, except non-interventionism. Not surprisingly, he stressed the importance of continued military aid to Israel. I don't think this is a minor point. Noninterventionism is a key aspect to libertarianism. To ignore it is to ignore the international application of libertarian principles.

It took a few days, but when news of Raimondo's article filtered onto the LP email discussion list, what followed was an avalanche of several hundred email posts, hotly discussing the issue. Unfortunately, Rubin's support of military intervention was not one of the main discussion points. But that aside, many of the points brought up need addressing.

The most substantive point of contention on the email list was the nature of the Jewish Defense League. Many insisted that the JDL is a strictly defensive organization.

The JDL was founded by Rabbi Meir Kahane, an advocate of violence against Arabs both in the US and Israel. In later years he was expelled from Israel for advocating the ethnic cleansing of all Arabs from greater Israel.

Throughout the 80s, the JDL was implicated in many bombings and attacks, including the 1985 bombing of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee which resulted in the death of their director, Alex Odeh.

At the time, Rubin publicly stated that Odeh "got what he deserved," adding "I'm not crying over the death of Alex Odeh." Rabbi Kahane, however, disavowed the group and moved to Israel. Rubin took over as Chairman.

According to the Historical Dictionary of Terrorism, law enforcement officials have ascribed at least 37 terrorist acts to JDL members:

"While the International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events (ITERATE) database developed on behalf of the United States Central Intelligence Agency by Edward F. Mickolus recorded 50 such incidents from 1968-1987, making the JDL second only to the Puerto Rican FALN as the major domestic terrorist group. Nonetheless the JDL is a legally incorporated political action group and has officially disavowed responsibility for any violent actions carried out by its members. Bombings accounted for 78 percent of all JDL terrorist activities; shootings accounted for 16 percent; while arson attacks, vandalism, kidnapping, threats, and verbal harassment accounted for the rest."

In addition to alleged terrorist activities, the JDL has been involved in intimidation and mob violence countless times. In 1987, several members of the JDL were convicted of violent assaults. Their targets often go beyond nazis and anti-Semites. Currently on the JDL website there is a call for fighting against the Southern Baptist Convention for forming a mission to try to convert Jews to Christianity. They call the Southern Baptist campaign the "Quiet Holocaust." Two months ago, the JDL (along with several LP members) attempted to block attendees going to a Pat Buchanan fundraiser at a private house. Rubin brags that he has been arrested over 40 times.

It is not difficult to find public positions of the JDL which are clearly inconsistent with the nonaggression principle of the LP.

They favor expelling all Arabs from both pre-1967 Israel and the occupied West Bank. They further support invading Jordan to take over the East Bank and expelling all the Arabs from there too. They are currently involved in a campaign to get the US to support Israel's campaign of demolishing Palestinian homes on the West Bank.

Here is one of the five principles of the JDL:

"JDL upholds the principle of Barzel – iron – the need to both move to help Jews everywhere and to change the Jewish image through sacrifice and all necessary means – even strength, force and violence."

In response to these arguments, many Libertarian Party activists say Irv Rubin is just one person, and that the LP cannot be responsible for the statements and actions of those who join the party. However, Rubin is not just one person – he is the International Chairman and guiding light of the JDL and the JDL is not a democratic organization. Moreover, the Libertarian Party has chosen to promote Rubin's membership in the pages of their newspaper and on their Website.

Other LP activists point out that Rubin has never been convicted of murder (is this now the LP's litmus test for membership?).

True, neither has David Duke. But the speech promoted by both has contributed to the tensions that lead to violence. And I have no wish to ally with either Duke or Rubin, regardless of their support of Second Amendment rights.

The leadership of the Libertarian Party has made a grave error. In their desperate pursuit of political success at the cost of party-building, they may truly be sitting on a political time bomb.

Very nice post and I'm in complete agreement to what you've said so succintly. A couple more big problems I see looming ahead is the Motor Voter loophole that essentially allows illegals to register to vote without having to prove citizenship. This loophole is just inviting massive vote fraud from some of the more radical groups within HN (Hispanic Nation) like MECHA. Also, as long as we're a patsy for El Jefe Fox, he will continue to export all his problems northward and have less pressure at home to truly reform the corrupt Mexican gov't.

Like it or not, that concept of Blue-Collar Middle-Class is a thing of the past.

Tell that to the millions and millions of hard working Americans that chose skilled trades over a college education. Someone has to do this work. And when our government pays billions of taxpayer financed dollars to provide A-Z welfare benefits to illegal immigrants so they can artificially depress the wages of honest Americans, the only ones that benefit from this are the illegal immigrants and the companies that employ them. Not everyone is cut out for higher learning. I take it that you could care less if many Americans find themselves unable to pay their mortgages or adequately provide for their family needs because of lower wages caused by illegal immigration. People like you will end up ruining this great country yet.

Too late, kiddo. According to the Supreme court, the federal government IS the major corporation in America: Volume 20; Corpus Juris Sec. 1785 "The United States Government is a foreign corporation with respect to a state". That is until you bent over for them and got yourself a social security number. At that moment, you signed a pact with this corporation. Its called a social contract. And now there's another social pact between government and illegal aliens which allows them to vote away your rights.
