People here in the east go wild when they see my prominent NRA stickers on the back window of my car. They become downright rude. In fact one guy tried to run me off the road while he made like his fingers were a gun pointed at me through his car window. They can get away with that in a gun control state like the one I live in. Having lived in Arizona I know that not only do armed citizens prevent crime they make for a more polite society.

Golly, does this mean crooks engage in (gasp) profiling?

Heres another one for you... Back in the early to mid 90's, there was a rash of carjacking murders on I95 in South Florida. Eventually the police figured out that it was rental cars that were being targeted exclusively. They realized that Florida Plates had rental on the bottom where the county name went if the vehicle was rented. When they finally caught the little maggots who were involved in the murders, they (the media) asked them why they targeted foreigners and out of state tourists. One of the little pieces of Human excreta who was charged flat out told them that the reason they targeted rental cars was, that they were generally operated by tourists and they knew that Florida's carry laws were such that if they targeted Floridians, they stood of chance of being resisted and shot. They targeted tourists strictly because of the fact they werent going to be carrying a weapon. I have never seen a story in the media, telling this story since then.

The other part of the story that isn't always true is that the Million Idiot Marchers always being unarmed. Many of them believe in protecting themselves. They just don't believe in allowing others to have the same self-protection.

Great letter! I do hope it gets printed somewhere. Did you, by chance, send it to a newspaper? It would be a good response to one of those anti-gun editorials.

The letter was written by Annie (that'd be me) and can be found at my website
The Cody Express with some more of my stuff and also on the
Gun Owners of America website under the Title "Hope to See You Soon" (Women's Voice page).
Please feel free to circulate far and wide.

Thanks for posting the article. It's so good that I'm sure given enough time Ted Nugent will be credited with creating it.
