Hindus do not eat beef.
Muslims do not eat pork.
Americans do not eat dog.
Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix flour with stock and heat until slightly thickened. Add the whipping cream (or half and half), green onion, salt and pepper. Bring to boil. Stir in sour cream until well mixed. Dip each tortilla in cream sauce, then arrange Chihuahua and strip of pimento down center of each tortilla. Roll and place in greased baking dish (or spray with food release)seam side down. Pour remaining cream sauce over all and bake for 30 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle grated cheese over all and return to oven until cheese is melted. Arrange coarsely chopped lettuce around edges of dish. Serve with green chile sauce, or salsa cruda, or Pico de Gallo.
Dogs have been man's companions for some 10,000 years. They are--unlike cattle and swine--not meat.
If those writing that dogs are a fit food item mean what they say, well, they come across as ill-directed macho and in extremely bad taste (no pun intended).
Had some in college. Was one of the best meals I ever ate. I don't know if it was so much the steak or the fact that I had been eatting nothing but college cafeteria food for so long!

Two dog slaughterhouses will open on South Korea's best-known tourist island, the first place
to legalize the sale of dog meat since last week's court ruling that it is "edible food."
North Cheju County officials on Cheju Island, 450 km south of Seoul, authorized the
slaughterhouses, expected to open early next year.
South Korea, concerned about its international image, had banned dog meat by invoking a law
prohibiting the sale of "foods deemed unsightly." It left decisions about what was unsightly
with local and regional authorities.
Meat edible
Last Wednesday, an appellate court said dog meat was edible and overruled a lower court that
had fined a man $3,700 for selling it. The new ruling does not make sales legal, but it was
expected to encourage local authorities to exclude dog meat from their lists of unsightly foods.
North Cheju County officials said Tuesday that the government ban had forced dealers to
butcher dogs in secret places lacking hygienic facilities.
Dog meat served mostly in soups or barbecued, is common in South Korea, where the
superstitious believe it heightens male sexual prowess.
The only dogs I've ever seen Koreans eat are the ones in the pictures... smallish yellow/blonde color dogs. I don't know what they are as far as breed.
The dog meat I had was rich, but almost every non-fish meat dish in Korea is rich. Sort of salty/sweet/spicy. Like bulgogi, sort of. If you didn't know what the meat was you'd eat it and like it, probably.
There are plenty more wierd things to eat there - like those stinking silkworm cocoons.
Was all set to do the dirty deed, and to at least give it a try. The boisterous locals were all beckoning us to have a seat. They knew that us "foreigners" don't much like dog meat, and they were amused.
So I was just about to order a plate of Bowser, when I spotted the huge platter near the stove, with a dog head placed on top of the meat.
As much as I wanted to try it, that was then end for me. We left politely, but without ordering.
Later, I was riding down one of the market streets (Broom Street, Electronics Street, Rice Street), when suddenly I found myself (of course) on Dog Street. Shop after shop of dog in different states of readiness for the table. Now, that was creepy.
I don't eat Dog myself but Bunnies are real good!!
