People for the Eating of Tasty Animals.
Seriously, a web site for this does exist -- well, did exist -- at PETA.org until the normal PETA stole it from them.

You haven't tried buffalo?

I'll assume you've never been to a chicken farm? You only have problems with the puppies because they are cute. It's like the whole "dolphin-safe" tuna thing. It's ok to kill tuna but not dolphins? There are plenty of non-vegetarian PETA loudmouths and for this, they are hypocrites. If you think killing, and eating one type of animal is wrong, then you must think it's ALL wrong. I do not advocate cruelty to any animals.. I prefer them killed humanely when possible before I eat them.

I suppose they are cleaner than pigs, I'll stick with the split hoof, cud chewing, formally mobile protein sources.

Chihuahuas, on the other hand, I have no problem with anyone eating those. Too much gristle....not really worth the effort.

I'd be willing to make an exchange for an equal number of PETA folk for them dogs. PETA members should be willing to give their lives for their cause just like the Taliban members.

PETA's revenge
To: TheOtherOne
We had this wonderful little dinner of venison & fries (did not know what it was at the time). Technically, venison is not only deer. Venison encompasses the meat of deer, moose, elk or caribou. Personally, I prefer moose.

I don't know where you heard that the animal was beaten before slaughter to make the meat more tender but I,m sure that is a lie, probably from PETA. We had a cow go down in the corral & she was trampled to death so we took her to be processed for our freezer. Ugh! the meat was full of blood that could not drain out of the bruised tissues. WE had to get rid of it.

Yeah, but the ears and tails crisp up so nicely when you deep fry them. :=)

When PETA worries more about people than animals, I'll support them. Up til then, pass the "aso"

I'm definately NOT with PETA on anything! However I have a problem with the eating of Canines. It is betrayal.Beast or not,the dog has been a campanion, protector, and confidant for us humans since time began. "Dog" is what became of the Wolf that decided to trust man and join in a partnership for the betterment of both. If ya gotta eat dog,you are a lousy human,a lousy hunter, and really have no sense of loyalty. My 2 mutts love nothing more than to help me whack a lesser critter, and then mooch the cooked product of the effort. Eating a dog is the equivalent of roasting the goose that laid the golden egg. Oh,and yes,I have eaten just about every other cute fuzzy critter on the planet with no remorse(except some monkey that put me in sick bay for a week!). No other critter was ever concerned,or offered it's life to serve me and Mankind selflessly. Our so called "Humane society" has to go as well. 6 weeks in a cage before a needle, has no honor. Neither does the term "Put to sleep". The Koreans can do what they do in my opinion, but I damn sure ain't gonna agree with it in any fashion. May you be worthy of the trust, and blind love,a good dog gives it's master! E4E

Congrats on a well reasoned distinction.

One man's protein is another man's pet! Just the facts man - we gringo's need to quit putting our value systems on the rest of the world. It is one of the big reasons that many others hate us!
