Thanks for your concern. But I merely reply. I have to explain my position after being attacked incessantly by the ADL/JDL groupies, and simply by folks who don't know better than assume an ignorant position.

Lotsa folks seem to obsess about Sam Francis and his forum. Well, as long as it entertains you and makes you feel good, use any label you like, LOL!
I personally, don't consider myself either of those categories.

Shouldn't you be drinkin' and slapping your wife silly?

At the time when that war happened, it wasn't exactly a thing I was interested at that age, if you know what I mean. Well, then, here's my summary.
The Falklands are islands 300 miles off the coast of Argentina. They have been under British control since 1833. All the inhabitants were, I believe, English speaking in 1982 and loyal to the Queen. But the Argentines call these Islands the Malvinas and some Argentines claim to trace their ancestry back to this land, and it was a nationalistic thorn in their side.
In 1982, the small British military garrison there was overwelmed by an invading Argentine force and surrendered. Margaret Thatcher sent the British military there to reconquer the islands.
Would you not have cared?

Webster: Appeasement -- "Concessions usually at the sacrifice of principles". You can do better than calling a walk in a bad neighborhood to be motivated by your principles. Forget LEO though, it's your invention and doesn't fit.

"Quoting bin Laden" is used to refute the previous Israel-firsters' line of defence of Israel "not having anything to do with it". As expected, they fell back onto the second line of defence, which for an observant reader should tell something about their trying to spin this. Just who are these "Israel-firsters" that have you so upset? Your obsession with them seems to have robbed you of your reason -- to the point that you would believe what bin Laden says about Israel.

You never replied to my question months ago. Is everything posted here reflective of the views of the site owner?Hey dude, E/O -
No - there's a great deal of latitude granted when posting from another site that goes against the grain of the sometimes "mob mentality" that rules here.
I, like you (I'm sure), love to see stuff posted here from antiwar.com or lewrockwell.com, if for no other reason than to see smoke fly out of some cyber-ears.
There's obviously a reason why VDARE and samfrancis.net are banned from here, other than their feelings about the site's owner (salon.com is always here), or because they are not mindless Bushies.
Think about it.

You haven't really set forth just why the US should do any of that, and just what actions it is that the US should be twisting Israel's arm to agree to do. Israelis are shrewd negotiators and know exactly how far America is ready to go with its pressure on Israel. You don't deny there is pressure to negotiate, do you? And that American demands are beyond what Israel is ready to do. Now, are you asking me whether American demands are reasonable, and why would America want to pressure Israel to accept American demands?

If not, why would you hold one forum to a different standard than this one?Good point. The difference is - the comments there go unchallenged (with a wink and a nod). Here, a person receives a sound thrashing (as has happened to me one more than one occasion - and well-deserved).

Ever wonder why millions of Germans would lock step behind Hitler? When people are unable to think outside the box, or unable to form their own opinions without sanction from their overlords, heinous things happen. The problem with most ME terrorists is that they're unable or unwilling to think for themselves or to entertain thoughts and ideas different from their leaders. Considering things outside of the 'official line' is what makes Americans great. It's a fool's paradise to run around bleating out government sanctioned lines like an Orwellian sheep and being spoon fed your worldview from the political movers and shakers.

OK, you aren't familiar with the term. It's OK. You don't hang out on "Israeli" threads then much.
It's a topic beyond this already very long thread. But if you are curious, I suggest you read columns by Sam Francis, Pat Buchanan and Joe Sobran.

Thanks for the synopsis, but I'd have to research more about that war to give you a meaningful answer.
To: Senator Pardek
You deserve a lot of trashing, LOL!

Thanks for the synopsis, but I'd have to research more about that war to give you a meaningful answer. There's a first.

How many "Baltikas" have you had already? Your wife still around, or has she ran off with a cool "Russian" mafioso? Those feisty Odessa chicks are suckers for gangsters!

You can't type a responsive reply to anything to save your life it appears. Now you are moving on to yet
another point that you assert that America is pushing to get Isreal to do something that it does not want to do at present. It is really quite amazing the ludicrous. Does a soul on FR take seriously anything you say, on either side?
As to your yet another question, since I do bother to respond on point, the answer is maybe I don't know. I doubt the US will ever push Israel much beyond what Barak offered, and Arafat rejected that flat out. So the bottom line is that even if Israel did exactly what the US wanted it to do, when it wanted it to do it, there still wouldn't be a deal. Get used to it.
