"After Sept. 11, the need for a series of "Islam 101" sessions became acute at Ford, said Mona Abdelall, a 17-year employee who heads the Ford Interfaith Network, an umbrella group representing seven religious groups within the company." Gee, I wonder if this is what helped the F-150 become so overpriced.....

You must work at Ford. I just retired at the end of the year--one of those unacceptable old white boys don't you know that was lucky to get a "Get Out" package. I know Mona very well. If she spent half the time worrying about being proactive in getting the quality into the product that she did organizaing Islam 101, few at Ford, even the OWBs would have noticed her ethnic origins or cared. Its junk like this that has helped put Ford Motor Company in the toilet.

Gee, I wonder if this is what helped the F-150 become so overpriced..... Right, instead of hiring the most qualified people to do a job, our industries have been reduced to hiring "qualified" people of ethnic origins, so that we not-ethnic people can become acquainted with other cultures. It drives the cost of products up or it drives the quality of products down. I am praying that 9-11 marks the swing of the pendulum for this crap and that it begins now to swing the other way.
As for Islam, as a religion, it was to be spread by the sword. Not peaceful since its inception, but I do not doubt that there are "westernized" followers who would not participate in this Islamic uprising even if asked. They do not appear to be in the leadership positions however.
