[history]
DEARBORN, Mich. - The speaker was nearing the end of his lunch-hour talk on the basics of Islam, and his audience - about 60 Ford Motor Co. employees - was beginning to get a little fidgety.
Then he uttered what amounted to verbal caffeine: "On Sept. 11 . . ."
Mohamed E.M. El-Sayed, a Kettering University professor who is an Imam, a Muslim spiritual leader, was trying to help the gathering of white, black, Hindu, Latino and Muslim employees understand how the terrorists who carried out the attacks on Sept. 11 may have used Islam as a rationale.

Other employee resource groups represent blacks, Latinos, Middle Easterners, gays, lesbians and bisexuals, Chinese, Asian-Indians, parents, and professional women of all backgrounds. Yeah, but think of all the people they've left out. Sounds discriminatory to me.

"Do these "affinity groups" allow Christians to discuss Christianity in a positive light?"
My guess would be NO

"You're correct, Sir! islam's been lying for over 1400 years ; Klinton 58 or so years!"
LOL, But he is catching up isn't he?

"You guys are pathetic. You manage to drag President Clinton into every single thread."
You forget the word "former" in front of "President Clinton", must be tough huh?
"As for Islam, I agree with you all that it's a stupid religion. But Christianity is just as stupid IMO."
Oh please stop insulting me, I think I'm going to cry.

"There is a clear verse in the Koran: Fight those who fight you," El-Sayed said. He said the terrorists might have confused the Koran's definition of "fight" with "kill." The Koran forbids killing anything, even a tree, he said. I'm sure that interpretation would be a revelation to their "prophet" Mohamed.

They will be thankful and you'd be hard-pressed to get one of them to bomb America. You are woefuly wrong, my friend. Their culture is all about loyalty to Allah, no matter how nice some infidel might be to them.
Do you seriously think that the daily bombardment of messages about America's support for Israeli murders, America's sex-crazed media, America's 'imperialism' wouldn't overshadow the relief they feel from having a handful of Marines helping the NA troops? (heck, we've got plenty of America-hating FReepers espousing many of those same lines.) Those kids will be taught that their fathers and uncles defeated the evil Taliban, and America's contribution will be quickly forgotten. In that region, and in the Muslim cultures, alliances and friendships quickly appear and fade (look at Saudi Arabia's 'friendships', for example). The lure of a guaranteed place in Heaven (and for some, the 72 virgins thing) is enough of a motivation to override any other historical acts.
(I admit, if I truly believed that an etermity in Heaven would be my reward, I could do almost anything to almost anyone. Abraham would, too, if you've read the Bible.)

Check out Ford Foundation contributions. Begin with Mecha, and you soon encounter all the icons of the left.

Have I mentioned about a dozen times not to buy Ford? Anything with the name Ford on it is anti-American, from their millions in contributions to the ACLU to their continued promotion of divisive diversity.

What about all those sheep and camels they kill and roast whole? What about all those Israelis?
What about 2 million Christians in Indonesia?

Henry Ford must be spinning in his grave. That's not too likely . . . considering how busy Henry must be while he attempts to satisfy his personal batch of bitc . . . er . . . um . . . that is to say, his gorgeous gang of 72 firm-breasted virgins !!! ;-))
