[history]
DEARBORN, Mich. - The speaker was nearing the end of his lunch-hour talk on the basics of Islam, and his audience - about 60 Ford Motor Co. employees - was beginning to get a little fidgety.
Then he uttered what amounted to verbal caffeine: "On Sept. 11 . . ."
Mohamed E.M. El-Sayed, a Kettering University professor who is an Imam, a Muslim spiritual leader, was trying to help the gathering of white, black, Hindu, Latino and Muslim employees understand how the terrorists who carried out the attacks on Sept. 11 may have used Islam as a rationale.

Isn't it called a "union shop"?

We can hope ... but it is futile.

You must work at Ford. I just retired at the end of the year--one of those unacceptable old white boys don't you know that was lucky to get a "Get Out" package. I know Mona very well. If she spent half the time worrying about being proactive in getting the quality into the product that she did organizaing Islam 101, few at Ford, even the OWBs would have noticed her ethnic origins or cared. Its junk like this that has helped put Ford Motor Company in the toilet.

After all this feel good show, I have not heard much condemnations of the terrorists, or bin laden from these moslem groups.

"... 9/11 predicates that we care about Islam." Well, I reckon since technically Islam isn't a Church" that somehow or other making it the state religion doesn't violate the separation of church and state. Sorry, but I know what I need to know about Islam to make enough of a judgement that I personally don't care what or how they think and I don't care if they get offended!

Gee, I wonder if this is what helped the F-150 become so overpriced..... Right, instead of hiring the most qualified people to do a job, our industries have been reduced to hiring "qualified" people of ethnic origins, so that we not-ethnic people can become acquainted with other cultures. It drives the cost of products up or it drives the quality of products down. I am praying that 9-11 marks the swing of the pendulum for this crap and that it begins now to swing the other way.
As for Islam, as a religion, it was to be spread by the sword. Not peaceful since its inception, but I do not doubt that there are "westernized" followers who would not participate in this Islamic uprising even if asked. They do not appear to be in the leadership positions however.

I knew that was probably what you meant ... But isn't it curious, our own Bill of Rights, offering Freedom of Speech and Religion has allowed the incredible proliferation and operation of these terrorists right under our noses. That's what galls me!

Islam and Muslims. Yawn. A billion absolutely miserable people belonging to an absolutely miserable bastard religion that has literally plagued the non-Muslim world for 1,000+ years.
The Imam can go cry me a river, with his pathetic apologetics.

Piss off, troll.

"We found we had so many questions to answer, we formed a task force to come up with Islam 101 to understand what Islam is all about," It's about death, destruction, and submission. It's one of Satan's favorite religions. I would not work for a company that wants its employees to "appreciate" Islam. Also I will not buy anything from a company that coddles Islam either.
Death to Islam!

. You attribute the widely publicized deeds of a few (which you are well aware of) onto the un-publicized lives of the many (which you are completely unaware of).
I don't think I've yet to hear a Muslim condemn 9/11 without some ridiculous qualifier that basically nullifies any condemnation made.
Islam = violence.

I don't think I've yet to hear a Muslim condemn 9/11 without some ridiculous qualifier that basically nullifies any condemnation made. Same here.
I have come to believe that Islam is nothing more than a Satanic cult.
They treat their women like crap, have no regard for human life or private property, have an obsession with "72 virgins", and all sorts of dumb superstitions.
Yep. I'd put Islam somewhere between Haitain voodoo and outright worship of Satan.

FORD is great at diversity. they purged their white male managers (of some age) to make room for more of it. As the morons were losing the lawsuit they expressed amazement that white males could actually be discriminated against (well they seem to have lost more on the age issue). Meanwhile, vendors who actually have to deal with FORD say that they interface with increasingly incompetent people. Things are so bad that one of the anti-manager clan has actually had to takeover. Hope he does better than his uncle and cousin have with the Lions.
