[history]
Two Arab men were indicted in New Orleans for what New York officials yesterday called the "most outrageous" attempt to capitalize on the World Trade Center tragedy to date.
Jihad Razzaq tried to cash in his wife's $100,000 life-insurance policy when in fact she had left the United States for her native Jordan, according to the indictment handed up in Louisiana federal court on Friday.

Red flags were raised when he said she had taken a taxi there from New Orleans. Also indicted was cab driver Halim Bouderbala, who provided a phony statement backing Razzaq's story.
OK, which one of these guys was the bigger idjit?

Wow! It's actually a true story...
What would cab fare be from New Orleans to New York (if you took the Lincoln tunnel)?

Jihad Razzaq:
"What the heck. Might as well since Bin Laden won't be sending me any more money."

At $1.00 for the first mile and 0.60 for each 10th of a mile thereafter, it would have cost about $8000.

Dig. Scape. Dig, did, dig - digging their own ethnic graves. in America and 50 other nations. They are neutralizing and corupting any future honest sympathies or claims for their Arab/Muslim communities.

From New Orleans, I would probably wind up taking the Holland, if you're going downtown.

According to my computerized map, the distance to the WTC from downtown New Oleans, by way of the Lincoln Tunnel is 1313 miles
The rates for New Orleans Taxi are:
$2.50 + $1.20/mile (cheap)
That comes to: $1578.10
Not counting bridge tolls
Things are cheaper in the Big Easy

Good work! I was trying to remember rates from my last trip east. I can assure you there are NO taxis in Tijeras.

OK, which one of these guys was the bigger idjit?LOL, it's hard to tell, but they are both idjits for sure. They need to be locked up, not necessarily for what they did, but for being stupid. People like that are a danger to themselves. What idjits.

No wonder he needed the $100,000.
