"John O.->"They CHOOSE not to date. Therefore they are virgins by choice"

You->What if they wanted to date? Would you LET them? It doesn't sound like it

What part of "THEY CHOOSE" do you find hard to understand?"

I understand that they choose not to date, but that is not my question. I'm asking you what would you do if they chose TO date. What would your reaction be? Would you let them?

Good. I wanted to be sure you understood so far.

So far I've been talking of the kids in the church youth group. I'll answer the rest of this about my own kids. (far too young to even consider dating. My daughter is 13 months and my son's not born yet)

What would I do if they chose to date? I'd lay down some serious rules and then let them. I'd explain why dating was a waste of their time and would get in the way of their relationship with God and then I'd let them make their choice. (as long as they were 16 years of age or above that is)

I would also have first right of refusal for anyone they were taking out or going out with. If I don't approve of the person, they don't date them. (My house my rules). Of course they would honor and respect me enough to really listen because I will raise them right.
