Arkansas FReeper Meeting 3

We just got back from the third meeting of the Arkansas FReepers in one piece. We met at the Best Western in Hot Springs where lurker Don was our host. Also in attendance were wirestripper and the Mrs., FreeTheSouth! and the Mrs., Travelgirl, pulaskibush, YepYep, Budge, and a mystery FReeper! Actually, Doug forgot his FReeper name! For shame. we discussed getting signatures to present to our representatives against amnesty for illegals, against the motor voter act, and in support of English as our official language. Then we got to the good part. We went to a place called Rocky's to get some supper. Budge took lots of food pics which will be posted as soon as I get them. This is intended as bait for the next meeting. Awhile later back at Best Western we mingled with Don's other group, Sons of Confederate Veterans and made sure to tell them about Free Republic. We were invited to have more food. But most of us were full at this point, except Budge and Doug who decided to hit a Sushi bar. Then Travelgirl and I abducted pulaskibush and dropped in at a place called Boot Scooters for a little music and a couple of dances. All in all an enjoyable evening. The next meeting is set for the second Saturday in January at Slick Willie's in Little Rock at 4 pm. You don't have to be from Arkansas! But we'd love to see as many of you as possible next time.

Well there's another one coming up. We decided that we're having way too much fun not to meet regularly.
