can't forget the montage scene, where he and Priscilla Presley come out of a theater laughing their behinds off. The film? Platoon!

"Solder, what does three-up, three-down mean to you?"

"End of an inning?" - Robin Williams, Good Morning Vietnam

And for some reason, I keep remembering the following from the forgetable movie Best Friends:

"I am going to kill him, I am going to kill him dead" - Burt Reynolds

From Heartbreak Ridge

Gysgt Highway (introducing himself to his platoon, while trashing the place) "My name is Gunnery Seargeant Highway. I've drank more beer, pissed more blood, and banged more quiff than all you numbnuts put together."

Col. Nathan Jessup: Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives. You don't want the truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand at post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

"Sir, are we being too literal?"
"What? They told us to comb the desert, so we're combing it." [to spaceballs]"Found anything yet?"
"Nothing yet sir!"
"What about you?"
"Not a thing, sir!"
"How 'bout you guys?"
"We ain't found s***!"

From A few Good Men (and Demi Moore)

Lt Weinberg to Demi Moore's pathetic character: "...and you...just go do whatever it is that you do."

From a more recent film:

"I never claimed to be a man of the people, but I do try to be a man for the people."

"He'll conjure magic for them, and they'll be distracted. He'll take away their freedom, and still they'll roar. He'll bring them death, and they'll love him for it."

"I think in all honesty, you have the wrong idea about what it is I do. You see for instance, tomorrow morning I'll go down to the bank, and if you don't have my money, I'll bust your f-----g head wide open in front of everybody in the bank. And by the time I get out of jail, hopefully, you'll be coming out of your coma. And guess what? I'll bust your f-----g head wide open again, 'cause I'm stupid, I don't give a f--- about jail." -Joe Pesci as Nicky Santoro, Casino
