Teenage son of my friend is missing since 11/26/2001. He is 15 years old and is from Salina, Kansas. Before he disappeared, he told his friends that he was going to Topeka, Kansas. Because the boy is of an age where he can take care of himself, the PD has already told the parents that they have to do most of the leg work in this case. The parents are devastated and are looking into all possible sources for help. That is the reason for this post.
The flyer that is being circulated in her local area is posted below. It has a picture of the boy. I would appreciate if people living in and around that parts of the country, can print it out and post it in their neighborhood. The Mom of this boy, registered today and she goes by the FReeper name "Lyrica". You can ping her for more info here or via freeper mail.
I thank everyone for your help. If you do not have any information, please pass this information across to anyone who might be able to help. Thanks once again.

Working in Eastern Mo.,at the moment, which isn't all that far a trip,on I70. Will keep my eyes peeled, and will also say a prayer for the young man. And,as others on this thread have also pointed out, please keep your chin up,Mom-15 year olds are incredibly hardheaded and ornery. They are capable of impulsive behavior that leaves most adults shaking their heads,but-and this is a big "but"-they're also fast on their feet, and amazingly tough when they have to be. Never Quit.

My son is home! (Oh, Thank God) One of my local flyers got him tackled by a very large man in a grocery store which resulted in a fight (my son had no idea why he was being tackled and restrained)and police picking him up. He was angry and didn't want to come home from the station, but eventually complied when state worker threatened to suggest he be handcuffed to a hospital bed due to his erratic and irrational behavior. Anyway, I believe God anwered prayer. He is here and safe. As far as I'm concerned we did get our Christmas miracle. I can never thank Cool Guy and the rest of you enough for your encouragement and prayers. Please do remember my son and so many like him. He is still a defiant mess. Was it Erma Bombeck who wrote "What to do when the apple of your eye becomes the bone in your throat"? Sincerely, Lyrica

Glad to see he's back home, safe. As a father of four teenagers...I understand.
Stay strong Lady, they need you more than they know...

I'm glad to hear he's home. Have you printed out this thread for him? I pray that G-d will give him a degree of insight into himself and his place in life and what really could be his place in life that he's never experienced before so that he'll choose to put his hands into hands that are stronger (to quote from a song by Bryan Duncan).
