Teenage son of my friend is missing since 11/26/2001. He is 15 years old and is from Salina, Kansas. Before he disappeared, he told his friends that he was going to Topeka, Kansas. Because the boy is of an age where he can take care of himself, the PD has already told the parents that they have to do most of the leg work in this case. The parents are devastated and are looking into all possible sources for help. That is the reason for this post.
The flyer that is being circulated in her local area is posted below. It has a picture of the boy. I would appreciate if people living in and around that parts of the country, can print it out and post it in their neighborhood. The Mom of this boy, registered today and she goes by the FReeper name "Lyrica". You can ping her for more info here or via freeper mail.
I thank everyone for your help. If you do not have any information, please pass this information across to anyone who might be able to help. Thanks once again.

Prayers on the way from our family.
I believe you said he is still local, but if he makes his way to Florida for any reason, I let my L/E family know to be on the lookout.
Take Care.

Do you have any idea in Topeka where to look? Friends? Interests?
To: Lyrica
Exactly right. And welcome!

Keep the faith, hon! On November 18 a friend's children were taken by their father. They were found and came home last weekend (Dec 2). There were many prayers that went up from FReepers and e-mails all over the US! God is good!!
Standing with you! (((((Lyrica)))) hugs & prayers
will pass along the information to all the homeschoolers I have access to.

Stay calm, I ran away from home several times when I was his age. I learned a lot actually. It's still a pretty safe country out there.

This response has been so overwhelming I can never thank each of you personally as I would like to. But I do thank each and every single one of you. I have read every single reply and am so encouraged and uplifted to see and know so many people really do care. It's easy for us all to get caught up only in what's happening in our own lives. Right now, I am. It's all I can do to function and hold my job right now due to the stress of trying to find him, follow leads and phone police, lack of sleep... just worn out but must keep going. I have faith in God to lead my son back home and protect him while he is wandering about in this world. But I'm human and I still worry. (Is he cold? Is he hungry? Is he in trouble????) My little bird who was not ready to leave the nest has jumped (fallen?) out and I am helpless to put him back in. He can't fly yet and I am distraught. It's my natural instinct to worry about him being devoured by the wolves. I thank you all for your prayers, compassion, concern and encouragement. It is my heart's desire that he return on his own. That would be much more meaningful than having him "captured" by police. Maybe we will have a Christmas miracle? ... Hopefully before Christmas? Hugs and much gratitude. I thank God for you all and will keep you updated. *smiles*
