President Bush met with Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan today over lunch with Vice President Cheney, presumably to talk about the economy. Bush also met with Swedish Prime Minister Goran Persson to discuss regional security problems. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush gave the media a tour of Christmas at the White House. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I can't believe how happy and relaxed Bush looks in these pictures. I would have thought he'd be real tense with the escalating violence in the mid-east.

I own a business in Kensington Maryland and the entire business community is up in arms over the town leaders decision. These morons have signed their resignation notice, because they will be rode out of town by the ballot box in the next election.

WooWhee!!!! W's lookin' good today. Love that first photo. Laura, as usual, looks beautiful and the White House looks lovely. Can't wait of the Barbara Walters special (or is it 20/20) on Wednesday night. Thanks for the heads up - I was wondering when this was going to air. I still am tiffed with Barbara for rudely asking Bushie why he always seemed to smirk (something along the lines of that) in an interview early on in the '00 race.He handled it with real class, as I recall, and answered it like she'd asked him why he smiled so much. Classy guy (classier than her for sure!)

The Bush's send out cards to many, many people. I am hoping for a White House card...I got a card last year because I had donated and worked on the campaign. Believe me, I donated not that much, and this was the first campaign I ever volunteered for. I am VERY unimportant!
I am telling you, when I got that Christmas card from the Bush family I about fainted!! My husband was dumfounded!! LOL!!
Volunteer and give money! The Bush family ALWAYS send thank you notes!!

Just for clarification...Brad's Gramma and I were 'funnin' around with the word effectWe WERE? Shucks. And I thought I'd finally got that word right.

Do you believe she said that Santa Claus was a religious figure? Does that make Rudolph a saint? I have NEVER heard anything so idiotic in my entire life...even Alan Colmes thought she had gone bonkers!!! LOL!

Rintense-THE WHITE HOUSE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! BREATHTAKING-actually-those trees, MY GOSH, and the gingerbread mansion....WOW!
Gretchen:Thanks for this:
The B. Walters / Laura Bush WH Christmas Tour, followed by Walters' interview with the President and First Lady, is on ABC this Wednesday (20/20) at 10 PM, with the usual adjustment for Central Time Zone.
Truth and OhioWfan-I am SO GLAD it is on a TEN! I have a lovable but honest to God puppy from Hades in obediance on Wed eves. When I first read that it would be on Wed., my heart sunk cause I didn't want to miss our slumber party where we will take the tour together.
Arifan-whatdayathink-should a thread be posted as to the actual time of the tour? And...is BAHWA WALTERS going to take the tour with Laura? (I sure hope not. I know in my heart Barbara cannot stand the Bushs and will make that point somehow to all her elite friends so that they can chuckle and slap her back, later.)

What a georgeous tree! I can hardly wait for the WH tour. I wonder if all that food is for the media?
The WH Chef really did himself proud with that magnificent gingerbread Whitehouse.

It's my firm belief that if feminazi's would begin hormone replacement therapy they'd be healed.
