I missed Special Report last night. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely story with us. I applaud your eloquence. President Bush is a true gentleman and his actions remind me of something my father used to say:
It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice.

It's called "class," you either have it or you don't. GW has it, Clinton didn't., and still doesn't, and never will.

Good Morning, FWI!!!
Sorry you were late for the party!
Remember the tensions of this time one year ago in the election aftermath?!!
YES, PRAYER WORKS!!
Note: my son, Kevin, called last week from his home in West Palm Beach, saying he had taken Susan and their boys to a Christian Concert in the area, and how great it was.
Related Michael Smith was one of the performers, and he testified GWB had invited him to have lunch at the While House with him.
Said during the TWO HOURS he was there, GWB talked nonstop about Jesus Christ and God...
As you and I know, he reads (and comprehends!) the Bible and has Bible study and prayer routinely with a group in the WH, despite the naysayers who think it is for show like his predecessors.
How blessed we are to have a leader like this - at a time like this!!....
No Gore...No More!!
Thank You, Lord...

I know we're not suppose to "judge" a person's heart, but it is hard to believe B.C. had any relationship with the Lord, by his actions and by his words, and yet we'd see him and her emerge from church service,Bible in hand. I just think he used his Bible as a prop. They're shameless.

How well I do remember what I was doing a year ago today! (Standing out in the Freezing Rain on Hillsborough Street again in Downtoan Raleigh - helping in the anti-Goron STOP THE ELECTION FRAUD attempt!)
What a difference a year makes!
Oh! So glad to hear your son's report from Michael Smith!
Yes, I would expect what he reports to be exactly right and true! How much we must be sure that we continue to pray for President Bush and America! Isn't God gracious? No matter how much God's enemies spew fumes and fury, He is in control! There's a verse in our church choir's Christmas music that says, quoting from scripture, "Why do the nations imagine vain and foolish things?" ......... I think about those nations around the world led by people who daily work against God. It is indeed a blessing today to be able to have a leader who is seeking God's help daily and who knows Jesus Christ and is in a relationship with his Living Lord walking daily with Him!
Pray that God will give our President more strength to meet every challenge - and wisdom - and, especially, discernment - to be able to know and effectively deal with those still in our government's bureaucracies who are working at this minute to undermine our war on terror and to bring destruction to President Bush and to our country! And, yes, for protection of President and Mrs. Bush, VP Cheney and Mrs. Cheney, and all those on his team - ESPECIALLY OUR MILITARY! WHEW! A lot of praying to do! But that's ok - our President - and our military - and our nation are worth it! Thank God!

I recently saw footage of President Bush shaking hands with a crowd of servicemen. They were all eager to shake his hand, and all had enormous smiles. It was genuine admiration and a stark contrast to the reaction Clinton used to get in that situation.

You idiots crack me up. I woke up this morning wondering what country I was in. I posted my opinion, backed it up with fact, and was personally insulted, threatened, and accused of being all kinds of things from a Libertarian to a Trotskyite. I always laugh at the other side because they're fixated on symbols over what's really happening behind the curtain. I guess I didn't realize that our side is afflicted with the same problem.
To: Norb2569
Norb, I've cleared a field of fire from this military summit.
When the time comes, I'm ready, and it will be an honor.
If my time comes first, I know I can trust you to do the same.
AYE AYE, SIR !

Johnny's not out of step, no,it just looks that way, must be the whole freakin' rest of the band. Everyone is out of step but me, little Johnny. Y'all all stop and get instep with me.
If that sounds absurd, then you know what you sound like.
To: LadyX
Yes, I agree.
I think George W. actually reads that Bible he carries, and he lives by it's teachings.
So different from the Slimey One who used it to show to the TV cameras.

The sweet aroma of liberty in Afghanistan,
Rain and snow in California,
Zinni in Israel,
Sharon in Washington . . .
Surely God might be saying,
"It's about time?!"
