Gov. Gray Davis likely has made Clint Eastwood's day.
I'd rather have Clint run for Governor and make Gray Davis' day.

This is good news...Eastwood is a compassionate environmentalist in the same sense as Teddy Roosevelt.

How about this quote from the movie (with reference to Gov. Gray Davis): "When are you gonna quit screwing around with this guy?"
To: areafiftyone
"With all due respect, Governor Davis, you're beginning to bore the hell out of me."

That's funny. I thought Davis was trying to weed out the "Neanderthals" in the Park Service, to bring it more in line with the "mainstream" of twentieth-century recreation management, and make it more responsive to the demands of the "minorities." Appointing Clint just doesn't seem to fit, although it is "stylish," I'll give you that.
