There was some site that showed pictures of people that the Taliban had skinned alive, it may be stupid on my part, but after the half way decent way they treated the Christian missionaries I thought that they would not subject westerners to this kind of torture.
My gosh, how can the media still whine about Taliban executions? These people have cast their humanity to the ground, why the heck anyone feels the need to treat them other than monsters is beyond me.

I refused to watch Geraldo, ever. I detested the man and everything he stood for.
I only learned about his switch to Fox because I watch Fox!
However, I heard Geraldo (on Fox) say that 9/11 was a wake-up call for him and it taught him something (about how he felt about his country.)
He's had his epiphany. Let's see how it moves him over the long haul.

Liscences can be obtained from the local constabulary.Look for the supercharged black two door hardtop and officer Max.

Well, that makes me feel a little better that they were skinned alive after they were brutally killed. NOT! Are these atrocities "how to" within bin laden's handbook or in part one or two of the koran?
To: MissAmericanPie
oops, sorry about the double post.

The old tales of Afghani butchery are proven once again.

I think they were skinned after being killed. This is what was in Geraldo's report on the O'Reilly factor. Bill O' Reilly seemed to say in his show's intro that they were skinned alive.

It also ought to can the cries from the libertarians (like tex-omar) about giving the Taliban the benefit of the Geneva Convention. This Libertarian leaning conservative believes that the Taliban SHOULD be giving the benefit ... of a firing squad

Oops. Meant to say they were skinned after death not alive. I made no sense. By the way, I do not look at any graphic photos from over there. I appreciate all the warnings I can get.
To: dennisw
I didn't know this, and am appalled. They are animals, and should be regarded as such by those who are so concerned about their "rights."
To: lancer
Yes ...They were skinned after being brutally killed. You are correct.

The other day I heard Geraldo say that America has always been a country with open arms, now maybe we will be a country with open eyes, I'm glad I was seatbelted in my desk chair when I heard him say that, I bout fell out.
To: Ciexyz
I saw Shep and Geraldo, too. And you are right, it did not come out with Shep. Maybe he had promised the scoop to O'Reilly, I don't know.
It was a very somber Rivera who reported these atrocities. He is either "putting away childish things" and turning into a decent human, or he is a totally convincing fraud.
Time will tell....

Bin Laden butchers wreak trail of terror
By Julian West in Peshawar (Filed: 30/09/2001)
A FORCE of about 8,000 Arab mercenaries loyal to Osama bin Laden has been carrying out a terror campaign in central Afghanistan, butchering or burning men alive and, in some cases, skinning them.
Elsewhere in Afghanistan's Yakalang province these men, a shock force charged with "special tasks" in the Taliban army but who act as the Saudi Arabia-born terrorist's "army within an army", have burned mosques and copies of the Koran in a ruthless campaign against the Shia Muslim minority.
Last week The Telegraph was shown photographs, too horrifying to reproduce, of their work. The body of Mehr Ali, a 19-year-old, newly-married farmer, had been skinned. Beside him, other bodies lay broken and mutilated. "It was a scene of horror, utter horror," said an aid worker, who visited the scene of the massacres. It is these men - mercenaries from Yemen, Sudan, Egypt and elsewhere, many of them criminals fleeing the law - that American troops may have to fight.

This is in the report by Geraldo on the Bill O'Reilly Factor. Damn! I thought O'Reilly was going to be the lone hold out who wouldn't feature Whorealdo during his show. I haven't seen Whorealdo on O'Reilly all week, but I did miss the first 15 minutes of tonight's show.

There are several ways one could look at this: (A) At least nobody was hurt;(B) Hope the Afghani's involved do not come down with some loathsome disease;(C)after the skinning was the skin stuffed with straw and the figures placed upon a mountain top? (D)Afghani's can't be all bad.
