Nah, I wasn't banned for being "vicious" with others. That was a cover story, at best. I was banned for asking questions about the WP/LAT vs FR case. I fully expect to be banned again very soon. Hopefully not before I hit "post reply" on this though.

Pssssssttt.....When someone puts something in a post in italics it usually means they are stating someone elses view, that they are going to disagree with.

Liberal Classic did that in his post #532 in response to Arator. So you attacked the wrong person. Liberal Classic is a conservative poster. And if you reread the response(the part below the italics) you will notice that.

You see the Socialist hijacked the term Liberal some years ago, so those of that ideology adopted the term Clasic Liberal to differentiate themselves from the Socialist.

FR helped me make it through many a long night on our cruises and makes the snowed in days here more beautiful. Mrs. ofM and I can take a break from journal writings and check in to FR to see what's happening outside.

Please keep this forum alive. I've watched nasty liberals ruin other forums/message boards and crush all conservative thought. It would be disappointing to see Free Republic go down. I'm new but my check will go out this week to keep FR alive and well.

I think FreeRepublic is not only a great place to come to online, but also a necessity - if we didn't have FR, the conservative movement in America would be damaged and vulnerable...

That being said, I'm trying to do what I can to help FR (with that project I mentioned, Jim - I've almost gotten enough volunteers to get it going full-tilt!) in my own unique way.

FR is too valuable a tool to just throw away. I have been coming here on and off since 1997, and it always my first stop for information, links, and conversation.

We CANNOT let the detractors win!

FreeRepublic is the "light on the hill" as far as politics is concerned. It's only when you are attacked that you truly know you're making a difference. Some folks just can't handle the truth.

I give to FR monthly, and will continue to do so. I wouldn't care if you were getting rich - our capitalist system defeated the USSR didn't it?

I want to thankyou for creating this site in the first place. As Drudge, Fox and others have done... you are letting the the truth be known and of course, a place where we all can speak out loud! This site is where I get my daily news, laugh, if I am having a bad day at work, this site takes me away for awhile. I enjoy it very much. Keep up the great site Jim!
