Flaming Nuts: Peaceniks Relive '60's I took a call recently from a guy who thinks that the peacenik movement - these long-haired, dope-smoking, maggot-infested, good-time rock 'n' rollers - can have a negative effect on the overall mood of the country. I don't think, in this case, that there are enough of them to worry about. In fact, I made a little note after watching some video of all these protesters out there.

I'm wondering when this video was actually made, because you've got the usual Death to America and Death to Bush chants, along with the burning American flags. By the way, did you see the guy who set the American flag on fire and then set himself on fire at the same time? That was fabulous. A flaming nut! Anyway, this footage could have easily have been footage that they dragged out of the file from 20 years ago. It's the way it is with reporters. They hear there's a "protest," and they say, "Let's go grab it!" I think we need to be told how big they are. I remember, at a South Carolina stop on the Rush to Excellence Tour, I was inside with 2,500 happy Dittoheads listening eagerly to what I had to say, celebrating America and celebrating freedom. Outside, there was a mother and her dauther with two other protesters. The lead story wasn't the 2,500 people inside having a good time. The four angry feminists outside were! ...
