I'm a neocon. I am quite comfortable with the application of force when needed.

LOL- I'm sure you are quite comfortable with the use of force: the problem is the international use of force that you neocon's advocate.

Ever since September 11, the libertarians here have showed their true colors. The majority of them are anti-American slime. They are not just against big government, they are against the American system of government.

I couldnt agree more. Like a barrel of rotting apples, you know which one to use for america's pie and which ones to throw to the hogs.

Yep. My views on some issues aren't too popular around here. Somehow though, I have managed to avoid getting banned. :)

A perfect example of why the "party" system is a farce and is just another dividing line that Americans are basically "forced" to be put in if they wish to be politically active.

I did not watch the interview, and this guy may be a nut case, but what does this have to with squat. At this point, your supposed to be insulted if your a libertarian and feel good if your a Republican (and of course you should always feel like vomit if you are a demoncrat :) )

A party system should be disolved and people are elected by their merits and their support and stand on Constitutional issues not their associations with political "parties".

This type of government intitiated slavery makes me want to puke.

Dear Cuban: We don't have to do a thing. The Libertarians shoot themselves in the foot every time they open their mouths. I am happy I've voted for Bush and not Harry. The LP made a mistake when they've decided to run him in 2000 and the leadership of the party decided to do this without the support of party members and their 2000 convention was a mock convention. There is a limit on how much a person can give a candidate he supports. Harry wanted his supporters to break that law, and Jacob Hornberger, head of the Future for Freedom Foundation, broke away his support of the LP over this issue and have written many, many documents against what the LP were doing during 2000. I beg your pardon.

I know of a lot of Pinko Commie Republicans. Some in very high positions. That does not make all Republicans Pinko commie advocates.

I am a libetarian and have been for forty years. I do not agree with Harry Browne. I am as far away from his position tonight as Ronald Reagan was from Nelson (Pinko/Rino) Rockefeller.

It's only one guy, this is like saying the Republican party sucks because of John McCain...or something. It doesn't make any sense.

Sure, but the Republican Party has more than six dozen people in it to balance out McInsane.

I'll bet you have a good time with the "tin-foil hat" club.
I don't agree with old Harry but I sure don't agree with internationalism. Give me sovereignty or give me death.

Actually the party system is good. It is the glue that holds the polity together. But on this forum I am more interested in ideas, rather than party bashing. In the end, most of us pull the GOP lever because it is the only practicable thing to do, even when the candidate holds all kinds of views and prejudices that from our own prism would cause him or her to be highly unsuitable as a dinner guest.

Give it a rest. All this Libertarian bashing and baiting is worthless.

There are a lot of Libertarian inspired folks on this website who voted for Bush. You ought to remember that before you paint a broad brush and spout off.

I see a different vision of Libertarianism than Harry Browne. Maybe I am wrong.

The problem I still have with our government is this idea that somehow we need more government, and what is even more laughable is that their ideas(cowardice) is being applauded by the masses.

Our current crop of leaders have ignored their responsibilities and have put us in this predicament. And even more hysterical is all the slobbering morons clamoring for more law enforcement and authority.
