Al had Harry Browne for lunch. This is all I need to see. I have lost any respect I had left for the libertarians. What a bunch of losers!

This thread isn't going to make it, but during the few brief moments while it is here, let me say that Harry Browne sucks. The slam on libertarians is too broad. Some, including some on this Board, are quite supportive of the national effort of self defense, and want the perps, and their support network, just as dead as most of the rest of us.

I wanted to reach into the TV and knock his freakin head off. " I would go in and get him...we shouldn't get him by dropping bombs"...well HARRY? how in HELL do you suggest we DO get him? You think the taliban are going to let you waltz on in and take him? No wonder you lost you loser!

After this the loser got on the kick of "no evidence that Bin Laden did this...or at least I have not seen it". Hey Harry...who gives a FLIP if you have seen the evidence or not?! You LOSER! The one thing people need to do when IDIOTS make this suggestion is to simply say "well...do you doubt the evidence that he was behind the Cole attack...or the African Embassy bombings? How many lives have to be lost before you are moved deeply enough to use force to get him? I guess the 17 of the Cole...and we KNOW he was behind it...is not enough for you."

The Libertarian Party has sure gone down hill since I joined and voted for Ed Clark back in 1980. I left when I realized the party was accomplishing nothing and that the party pledge of Non-initiation of force was not practical, it prevents a pre-emptive first strike. Harry Brown is the worst candidate they have run.

I gotta tell ya: I have never heard such utter nonsense in my life. If these people ever assume power, they will make Clinton look like a great defender of freedom and bulwark of morality by contrast.

Libertarians ought to be considered a national security threat by any member of the voting public. I have voted for Libertarians in the past (thankfully, now, never for President)--But never again!

What an outrage!, I just finished listening to the 2000 Libertarian Candidate for President Harry Browne on Hannity and Colmes. What an OUTRAGE!. Harry Browne said Bush was a liar that was lying to the American people, that we were bombing innocent civilians that did nothing when it cameto the terror attacks, that we did not try to solve the situation by negotiating with the terrorists, that America was a mean bully, that Tony Blair's document proving Osama did it was all a fraud, and the whole world hated us and most people did not like us!

THIS IS AN OURTAGE, HARRY BROWNE AND HIS LIBERTARIAN BUDDIES ARE ALL A BUNCH OF UN-AMERICAN PIGS. I BET THAT TED KENNEDY AND AL GORE ARE BETTER PATRIOTS THEN THIS PIG WHEN IT COMES TO THIS WAR ON TERROR. IT IS TIME TO START A CAMPAIGN AGAINST THIS MAN, HIS LIBERTARIAN PARTY, AND THOSE THAT ARE AGAINST THE WAR! IT IS AN OURTAGE THAT THIS MAN IS PART OF AMERICA'S POLITICAL RIGHT. SAY HELLO TO HARRY BROWNE, SUPREME COMMANDAR OF AMERICA'S TALIBAN!

Amen to that. I actually liked many Libertarian positions on domestic issues, though I admit sometimes they would throw a clunker position in that was truly wacky.

But my God!!! That complete imbecile Brown was arm-in-arm with the wild communist-druids-pacifists we have out here on the coast. What a moron that man is!

And even worse, from the Libertarian standpoint, D'Amato (who is no great shakes in anyone's book) chewed that [slang word for developmentally disabled] Brown to pieces and spit him out for effect. Good Lord, the Libertarians need to get a standard-bearer that is at least room temperature.

Ed Clarke was a very sane and balanced man. I voted for him too, primarily because the Pubbie was so pathetic. I think Clarke got about 5% of the vote, a level never matched since in California.
