In Geraldo Rivera's last show before he "heroicly" heads for the bright lights of the Aghanistan war theater, even he couldn't take Clinton-sychophant Tavis Smiley's ranting about the former President's "legacy", interrupting to punctuate the subject by shaking his head and saying that Clinton was "irrelevant," and even less so than former President Carter.
A "special" guest panel to share old war stories included lone Conservative, FOX's John Gibson; BET's Tavis Smiley; Alan Dershowitz and the young lawyer/commentator Abrams who's first name escapes me from CNBC.
"Highlights" included Dershowitz's claim the five Supreme Court justiced "cheated" Gore with their ruling during the Florida voting debacle; Dershowitz bragging that Clinton could have avoided the testimony that got him in trouble in the first place by a loophole had the Liar-in-Chief only listened to him; Gibson recalling and deriding Clinton's definition of what "is" is; Gibson destroying Smilley assertions that Clinton was a great President; Smiley's incessant kissing of Geraldo's @ss, and Smiley's inane assertion that anyone could have led as well as Bush during the Terrorist and War situation -- he refused to give him one iota of credit.
Subjects covered as I recall: Jon Benet Ramsey; the OJ Trial; the Bush-Gore election dynamics; The terrorism and Afganistan War...
Thankfully Gibson got his shots in and Geraldo surprisingly closed very humbly...
As for your last comment "Guess he's just another tiny man with an attitude and a big mouth" all I could think of was Tom Daschle fit this right along with Dershowitz! Two men I absolutely loathe!
Dershowitz's feet didn't even touch the floor! Little, nasty man.
LOL!
BTW, I first started watching Gibson the same reason you'd stated. He's been an excellent voice of reason ever since -- and he seems very honorable as Fuhrman concurs.
Bill Clinton and George W. Bush somehow wound up in a barber shop at the same time. They sat there quietly, neither one speaking to the other. The barbers in the shop were reluctant to say anything either because they did not want to start any political talk that could lead to an argument.
The barber that was working on Clinton finished clipping his hair and leaned over to grab a bottle of aftershave off the counter. Just then Clinton said, "No! No! None of that! My wife Hillary will think I've been in a whore house!"
A minute later the barber working on Bush finished and reached over for the after shave. Bush said, "By all means, go ahead! My wife Laura wouldn't know what the inside of a whore house smelled like!"
O'Reilly grilled Geraldo, eh? I missed that...
Why? He made an absolute a$$ of himself and Starr creamed him. If he keeps showing up on FOX he'll be the laughingstock of the country in no time. He's used to pontificating to students and liberals who would never talk back to him. On FOX he keeps getting tripped up and sounds like a fool.
You are not the only one who might be tempted to give up on FOX. I really can't stand that guy sooo much that I cringe when he talks or smiles. Yuck! And Bill O'Rielly gave him plenty of opportunities to at least smooth things over with the FOX audience but nooooo way. What I really don't understand is why FOX wanted him with the way his show went down the ratings tube over the last year or so. Very, very surprising, indeed!.
OR maybe the FOX has bought the rights to air the WWF -- and the joke is -- Geraldo's job will be as a commentator? Hmmmm, actually I think would be a great idea...
Aaah, Clinton-whore Lanny Davis, and remember the other Clinton shill -- was it Victor ("the dress-stain proves nothing") Kamber?
