The details are sketchy. Apparently a road crew working on one of the streets in boston discovered a secret "room" under the street. It is part of a network of caves and caverns. It looks very old. Meaning centuries. The origin and the purpose is a mystery.

They keep telling us the Taliban have extensive cave and tunnel systems...
Hey, maybe Roger Ailes can quick get Geraldo over there and he can open it up live on the air like Al Capone's vault.

Ha! It's just the place where they stored their "beans and cod"! Probably, their tea, too!

"NYC is full of these things -- old subway tunnels and such." Yup. I saw a one hour hour documentary about the first subway in NY. Seems when they got to digging down there it was discovered that some rich guy in the past had already built his own subway in secrecy.

And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall,
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call.

""NYC is full of these things -- old subway tunnels and such." thats probably what this is; a government project that finally ran out of "funding"; or someone took the funding, n stopped paying the workers....

This is legit. They think it was either part of an underground water system or the Underground Railroad. I'll see if I can find a link.

I had to beg for seconds until I started making real money.

Local history here in Boston has it that colonial North End had a network of underground tunnels probably used by smugglers. I first heard of it 30 years ago. This is old news largely forgotton by Bostonians as most have migrated here and are not Mayflower stock, at least in the North End. I got the information second hand from an acquaintence of a mafioso source. Maybe they found a use for the tunnels?

"Good songs, though. Led Zepp too." Yup. I saw Zepplin on their first tour in Filmore West. Also..."something's happening here, what it is isn't exactly clear, there's a man with a gun over there telling me I got to beware"....

I tried "tunnels" and "Boston" in a
Google Advanced Search and got 22,300 hits. Can you give us some more hints, please, so we can refine the search?
