And another thing. Woodward credits gore with "giving" the presidency to Bush and not "fighting on",,,now correct me but I think Bush won the presidency and once the Supremes in their wisdom cut this gore off at the knees, there was no place to go other that to the coup solution. Bulls@it all of this creeps words.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the crucial Supreme Court decision, the one that really put the nail in Gore's coffin, a 7-2 vote?

Perhaps the reason that the Supreme Court hasn't suffered in its reputation is because people can see that it was a very reasonable decision. But you can't blame the media for not trying to convince people otherwise.

Gee, I bet Diana Ross would be dissappointed to learn that. (heh,heh)

All joking aside - in a way Gore was instrumental in handing the presidency to Bush - it's not real hard to make a candidate look like a geek when he can't decide who he is, or what he actually is responsible for, or who would laud Clinton as "one of greatest POTUS's in our history" can't be all there mentally.
