Woodward reminds me of the one-time high-school-stud who never grows up. Well into his fifties, he wears a ridiculous combover, gold chains, open shirts, gold chains, too-tight pants, and carries a pot belly that hangs over his belt, still trying to pick up teen-aged chicks with "...hey, sweet-cheeks; if you only knew who I was...........er, am........".
He's a has-been who hasn't caught onto the fact.

What is fascinating to me is that everyone, everyone knows a bad sport when they see one and Al Gore was the worst of the bad sports I have ever seen. After conceding, he takes it back. Now that would doom most men in other men's eyes. Then he goes for every little trick to steal the election, every trick, even trying to disenfranchise military. He whips up racial resentment, sics Jessee Jackson on all of us. Then he gives a speech doing what he should have done on election day. And Woodward doesn't know why people prefer GWB by a margin of 2;1 over that prunish girly boy. Geeze,,how dense can one be?

If Bush won the Florida vote with only one vote, it threw the electoral vote majority to Bush. That's the U. S. constitution and the surpreme court had no choice in the matter.

On the one year anniversary of the 2000 election...This drives me wild! Make that: "On the first anniversary of the 2000 election..."

Jeez...these Rats don't get it. I think we need a good one or two hour FREEPATHON of democrats.com. The presidential issue is still REALLY important to them. Dwell on the past. Be the victim. Typical RAT behavior.

Gore is below the title of loser. Woodward is simple pond scum. No one respects him, no one cares a rat's rear end what he says.
End of story, they're both minor footnotes in history.

Woodward--blah blah blah! He has tried so hard to extend his 15 minutes of fame. Hang it up, Bob! It's just not there. (It never was.)

Let me make sure I read this article correctly.
Did Woodward say, "Waaaaaahhhhh! Waaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!"?
It sure read like that.

Sorry, legal predicate for a recount: finding of machine error. None found in the 3 counts. The law is clear. Voter error, is not machine error and is not a vote. You can't cure a non-vote on a system designed for a machine count by manipulating and degrading the cards. That is the law, despite the best efforts of the Florida liberals to enact a coup..

Actually heard Chris Matthews suggest that Americans are tired of political hacks like Gore, Mondale, Dukaka.....not sure why he dragged their names in.......the man uses some mind altering drugs IMHO.

Uhhh, I may be mistaken, but Gore lost the election not because of Florida, but because he lost his home state of Tennessee. Woodward is still dreaming of his glory days from the 70's. Some grow, others blow.

An airhead news reader and a has-been reporter. Wasn't woodward the guy who supposedly "interviewed" Bill Casey while Casey was in a coma?

Thank God for Fox News. . .and of course, Fox & Friends in the morning.
It does not surprise me that Woodward, whose labored, sonorous, monotoned voice which labors then births every syllable. . .would find Gore's vacuous speech; both in content and delivery. . .somehow pleasing to his ear. . .not so strange. . .really.

Funny how absent these professional investigative journalists were during the eight years of Clinton/Gore scandals. How did Woodward miss Dean's needing to retrieve his girlfriend's photo from the pile of DNC escort photos in the secretary's desk at DNC headquarters (call-girl ring located next door to DNC headquarters) as a motive for the Watergate break-in?

So, Gore invented the internet, was the inspiration for "Love Story", AND made Dubya President? Wow....

Good thing that the only people who care what Bob Woodward has to say are the morons who regularly watch Good Morning Amerika and us freepers.

What bugs me most is the vote was 7-2 that the recount was UNCONSTITUTIONAL. But nobody ever remembers that! The 5-4 was to STOP the recount only. The liberals just can't handle the 7-2 vote.

If any of you have not seen the comedy "Dick", I highly recommend that you do.
I know, you're expecting it to be the standard Nixon bashing fest that Hollywood always produces, and they do give Nixon a good bashing.
But Nixon is nowhere near the most abused guy in the movie. He comes across us something of a lovable jerk. And the girls (who are the stars of the plot) are quite funny.
But far and away, the targets in this movie are Woodward and Bernstein. They are played by Will Farrell (from SNL) and one of the guys from Kids in the Hall (I don't know his name.)
They are so relentlessly mocked, coming across as the two nine-year-old idiot boys in way over their heads. I don't know what Hollywood was thinking when they let two heroes of the left get pounded so bad.
I'm telling you true, if you hate Woodward and Bernstein as much as I do, you will love the ruthless bashing they take in "Dick".
