Uhhh, I may be mistaken, but Gore lost the election not because of Florida, but because he lost his home state of Tennessee. Woodward is still dreaming of his glory days from the 70's. Some grow, others blow.

If Gore had won EITHER Tennessee OR Arkansas (the home state of the "Greatest President in American History"), Florida would have been a non-issue. Those who knew them best had had their fill of Clinton and Gore!
