How can that be? Everyone knows the Earth is only 6,000 years old.

Shhh. It's a gravy grab for flames on this site. /sarcasm

Hey G,

Over here in Lafayette, we got mosquitoes big enough to stand flat-foot in the dust and f##k a turkey!

No doubt the roach is Hitlery in a different era, LOL. It takes a village.

Yea!, those things are HUGE! Whenever I had to pick up tankers in Reserve, LA. those monsters would get stuck inside. I don`t know why they would want to fly into a semi-tanker.

"...modern roaches in the tropics are known to grow 4 inches or bigger."

Over here in Japan they make great pets.

Ya know, when I first read this article, I vividly remembered the sight of a mouse sized cockroach running across the ceiling of a friend's house and then ducking inside the fireplace brickwork.

Nothing like south Texas, for bugs.

Giant Cockroach Found?

I'm remembering a woman, who used a 4-10 shotgun to eliminate a cockroach from a Texas wall. Course, she also used a 22 to try to get rid of a squirrel in the attic, so I don't give her much credence.

All I can say is, CALL THE EXTERMINATORS!!!

and get cheese.

It's not often that one sees the word "giant" used to describe something a mere three inches long...this is good news for Bill Clinton...

Anybody who leaves dirty dishes and food out DESERVES to have their silverware carried away by these things!

There are places in this world where man gets revenge...

As in much of Asia, Thai rural communities know that certain animals are not only tasty, but a good source of protein, minerals and vitamins. Using the latest canning and pasteurization techniques SARTC, the Sakon Nakhon Agricultural Research and Training Centre, has made it possible to ship them worldwide.

Four of the products are made as crunchy snacks, that go so well with a cold beer, while the ant eggs would be perfect served on hot toast.

SARTC Cans
Canned in the
North East of Thailand

Mixed Insects

Each can has an assortment of insects including mole crickets, crickets and water beetles. Cooked, salted and ready to eat.
Can holds 50 g. of Silkworm Pupae.

Ah, those are the little ones. The REAL mosquitoes land at Barksdale AFB and are confused with the B-52's. One inexperienced airman pumped 1000 gallons of fuel into one before realizing what it was (we won't go into where he had inserted to fuel transfer line).

Roaches are closely related to lobsters... but I don't care to do a taste test.
