[history]
Either Britney Spears isn't aware that a war is going on, or that's what she would like you to think.
At a news conference in Toronto before a concert Monday, the 19-year-old pop icon was at a loss for words when asked whether she supported the U.S.-led military strikes against Afghanistan.

Eyes? She has eyes?Yes, it's true, she does. It's those two things above the nose in her head, which is sitting on her neck, which is just above where you're obviously looking. :-)
To: John Jorsett
I am glad she didn't answer. Who cares what she thinks?

"If I say yes, it might hurt foreign sales, but if I say no it might hurt domestic sales. I don't know what to do!!!" You're being kind. I seriously doubt that much was going on up there.

It does irritate me when people jump on folks for one small thing here. Britney's on my good list, and I'll probably get her new CD tomorrow evening.

"She didn't elaborate, keeping the extent of her knowledge of U.S. foreign policy under wraps." ***"Anyone know if the article's author is a Brit? This is a delightfully wry sentence!"***
Calling all Brits, anyone know?
(you all do have a wonderful way with your language) :)

I would be interested in seeing her position on cheese. Which position?

Ditto. I'm actually still trying to figure out what about her makes so many people angry. "She's a slut! She's not talented! She can't sing! She's a cocaine addict!" Blah dee blah. You don't like her music, don't listen to it. Jealousy, jealousy, jealousy.

Frankly, I find it refreshing if celebrities keep their opinions to themselves. My boycott list for those that don't is endless.
You people complaining about this kid are way offbase. I could give a rat'z what you wackjobs think.
This kid works very hard. She takes chances. In the face of mountainous celebrity pressure she tries to remain human. If she were my daughter I would be exceptionally proud of her and her accomplishments.
Some of you crap tossers aren't going to be happy until she's in tears complaining about those who hate her, those evil conservatives and the wackjobs at FR. You people, with your vicious and ugly comments, you people think. Read your nonsense. You typify what has gone wrong here at FR. You've made this place absolutely irrelevant.

I'm sorry, Jim Robinson, the above post is the way I feel. I used to think we were on the crest of a great wave and that this place was the future. We've been neutralized.
Thanks for the forum, anyway. Semper Fi, Mate.

"Dumber than a box of rocks, but way better looking."
I can't separate her persona from her looks, therefore I find her distinctly unattractive (which is not the same as ugly).
To: 68 grunt
Since when did liking Britney Spears' music become a litmus test for conservatism? What a bunch of crap.
To: Steve_Seattle
Hey, stupid one, where do I say I like her music?
Its you fools who I don't like.
To: Justa
"the swelling and discoloration of her eyelids are blatant indicators of cocaine abuse"
Give me a break, have you ever heard of eyeliner and eyeshadow?
