Look
here for some amusing leaflets featuring the Daisy Cutter dropped during the Gulf War.

It might be a good idea to load it into an unmanned drone and fly it directly into a cave entrance, assuming there might be some target of interest there.

U.S. Uses Huge Bomb Against Taliban ForcesThat's a curious title.
My understanding was that these "daisy cutters" were used to clear landing areas for planes and helicopters.
Anyways, it's the kind of headline I look forward to every day.
Thanks!

i saw a calculated yield on the order of 7.5 kilotons, meaning we're getting a thousand pounds of tnt per pound of this thing. as firecrackers go, a good'n Not likely. 7.5 tons I would believe. But not 7.5 kt.

By attaching a remotely steerable parachute to this thing it could be turned into a highly accurate weapon just by virtue of its mass.

I hope you're satisfied now: Richard Gere is really PO'd at you for talking about this.

Speaking of which, who makes these beauties? Buy their stock and donate your gains for more bombs...

The military can purchase 400 hammers or toilet seats for the same price.Hah!
Glad you're recovering from your post-dynastic funk so quickly, Senator.

I need an explanation on that one - quick.

It wouldn't be the first time a major company put their logo on a bomb. The Ford Festiva for example....

Thanks for that link. Those leaflets are great! I wonder how many Talibums wondered if the world was ending after these bombs went off? I am sooooooo proud of our men and women in the Armed Forces!!!!
I'm ready to send in my $$$$ for more of these. Perhaps the Red Cross could help, heheh.

...then there's the "Cave Buster."
A little smaller than the Daisy Cutter, THIS sucker is filled with liquid petroleum, is ruptured just above the ground near the entrance to a cave (where bin Dumbass might be hiding) and the LP allowed to sink into all the little nooks and crannies THEN the ignition source goes off.
If the blast doesn't do the job, the fire will.
Oh yeah -- the thing burns so intensly that it literally sucks all the O2 out of the area, causing suffocation.
Any or all of those methods work for me for bin Dumbass.

Today is Day One, Year One, A.R.
"After Rivera."

I am presuming they are "unguided". What kind of accuracy can they get from 30,000 feet? The article didn't say "30,000 feet." It said that minimum altitiude was 6,000 feet.
IR and GPS technology is very new in terms of dropping bombs. Ever heard of bomb sights? Go back to sleep or a few read WWII novels. If you can't read, then you can watch war documentaries on tv.

$27,000 each? You could drop 100 of these and barely touch the price of a single cruise missile.
