I have every reason to believe that a federalized airport security service would do every bit as good a job of keeping bad guys off the airplanes as the INS and FBI has done in keeping bad guys out of the country.

Hate to burst your bubble, but every "secure our borders" rally usually consists of five guys on one side, with ten members of the Chicano Civil Rights lobby on the other. Nothing much is accomplished as (until recently) nobody really cared about immigration. Even so, most people are currently concerned about immigration only insofar as we let Arab terrorists into the country as "students."

I have been posting all over FR the suggesting Freepers organize a Million American March to Washington specifically in protest against the INS as they have let the terrorists in the country, and will let in more yet, and the entire bureacracy is deeply suspect.

We are asking activists across the nation to organize their own rallies on this issue. The schedule for these events is: December 7 - 9; January 11 -13, 2002. There will be further dates posted after December. Groups in Virginia and Florida will kick off tomorrow also. Austin may join in.
