Nice to see Mark Grace win a World Sersis finally.

I'd like to call the Yankees and ask them how they feel.

Gee, stack the deck against small market teams, no revenue sharing(unlike the other sports), and you guys STILL whine that you were cheated? Funny, for some reason I thought the Yankees were also given 9 innings at 3 outs per to hit and pitch.

YANKEE FANS DEMAND A RECOUNT!!!
Dang, you beat me to it. Well, I'll second the motion. B-)

Trying the explain to my son why it's good the snakes won but it's falling on deaf ears. The D-Backs are a team of all stars but I don't think one had a championship so it's all good. Especially for good guys Mark Grace, Steve Finley, Matt Williams and Schill. Come to think of it, Williams might have won a ring with SF.
The bad news is the problem with baseball is just as glaring tonight as it was 4 years ago when the Florida marlins bought a one year wonder. Baseball is sick and stacked. Yankees exhibit "A". It'll be really exciting the year a payroll under 50 million wins.

snakes is right. if the yanks had the strike zone the umps gave the dbacks pitchers, they would have won in five. don't kid yourselves, dback fans, this was a gift. see you next year (or probably not).
Oh please. The yankees are lucky it got to a game 7. They were clearly out played and pitched. The Yankees have gotten so many breaks over the past 5 years that it is all even now.

Time to name the MVP to...Randy Johnson & Curt Schilling....muahahahahahahahah....
To: jays911; ilgipper
Problems with the butterfly strike zone? Trouble figuring out when to swing? Elderly Yankees confused by the pressure? Want to disqualify the runs scored by D-backs with relatives in the military?
To: Citizen of the Savage Nation
Normally I'm not for spreading the MVP between 2 players, but I cannot honestly figure out in my head which one of these guys was more valuable.... they both put out unheard of efforts. Of course, if I was forced to choose, I'd probably go with Schilling.

Are you kidding? They had to rig the middle 3 games just to keep the yankees in it.
To: jays911
OH, I see another conspiracy theory develops.

The Yankees and the Cowboys don't lose they beat themselves with their casual attitude toward their opponents because of their own overblown pride in themselves foolishly based upon a long history of winning too easily too often.

Just like the Clintons did in Arkansas and pridefully entered the Whitehouse.Yep. And we taxpayers are still feeding them...
To: KQQL
I disagree...he was in top form, and still got beat...bea-yoo-tiful....muahahahhahahahah...
To: jf55510
The ONLY reason that they won was outstanding pitching and clutch hitting not managing. Brenly was and still is an IDIOT. Oh, reeeeally...so making sure that Randy Johnson was available tonight wasn't his call?
