By Andrew QuinnSAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - California Gov. Gray Davis (news - web sites) said on Thursday there was a ``credible'' threat that the state's four major suspension bridges -- including the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge -- could be attacked starting Friday.
``We've received from several different sources threats that the law enforcement community in general believes are credible that between Nov. 2 (Friday) and Nov. 7 (next Wednesday) at rush hour there will be an effort to blow up one of those bridges,'' Davis told a news conference.
But the federal government distanced itself from Davis' comments, with law enforcement officials saying the was no reason to believe there was any specific or imminent threat to the bridges...
...because the FEDS know that Davis is a bozo!!!
