Are there any other teen Freepers on here? I'm 14 in case you're wondering.

Me too. Alex Keaton was my idol. I think many in our age group were positively affected by the Reagan years. Hopefully, Bush can do the same for this fine young person.

Welcome, my 19 yr old daughter isn't a FReeper yet, but she attended political functions with me since she was 12, and was at the FReeper Ball this year, after FReeping the Creep one last time the night before. :-)
If you get a Teen thread going, let me know and I'll get her to subscribe.

When I was fourteen, Jimmy Carter was President, and unfortunately, I did know it.

Good suggestion, OPH. I haven't encouraged my daughter to participate because there are a lot of loonies here as well as good conservative people.
If there is a teen thread, it should be monitored by parents.

I know some of the adults here that my sons, when they were teenagers, would have been capable of monitoring...probably would have banned them.
On a lighter note...when I was 15, I was in YAF working for the Goldwater nomination.

Welcome aboard! Congratulations on being an "independent" thinker at such a youthful age. (probably because you are home schooled.)
My daughter is 15 and often follows the threads on this site. Now that we know you are here, I'm sure she will want to get her own screen name and begin posting!

LOL.. guess that dates both of us!
When I was in high school, I went door-to-door passing out Goldwater pamphlets. :-) The victory party was the pits.

Ah! You darn kids and your rock-rap-techno-house-trance-music! Keeps us 25 year-olds up all night. And that is how we like it. Good for the teeny FReepers. And in case any of you missed my 20-something FReeper thread,
Here it is!

EEEwww, what a revolting thought!
Glad that we have some younger folks on FR. I am only 33, but I remember thinking that was pretty old when I was 14!
I know a lovely 75 year old woman who is younger at heart that most teens. I hope I can be that vibrant in 40 years!

"I guess you'd like to know that I'm also homeschooled."
Hang in there, honey, we'll give you some "schoolin'" you'll never get in government institutions! I'm glad you're here.
