LOL ! hmm , yes they do . So do people who do not own property .. For what it is worth .
I may not own a house, but I pay rent to someone who pays property taxes, and I own a car that I pay taxes on, and license plate fees, etc. A person can own a house and still be a bum.
(I know I'm a little defensive on this subject)
