McVeigh's Ghost - Top Pentagon Officials Say Iraq Involved in OKC Bombing
US News & World Report/ Fox & Friends ^ | October 23, 2001 | Paul Bedard

Some dismiss it as being akin to Elvis sightings, but a few top Defense officials think Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh was an Iraqi agent. The theory stems from a never-before-reported allegation that McVeigh had allegedly collected Iraqi telephone numbers. Why haven't we heard this before about the case of the executed McVeigh? Conspiracy theorists in the Pentagon think it's part of a coverup.

Does anyone remember when the incident first happened there were early reports that there were two arab looking men seen near the site. Then the world went into this sterotype thingy and is was dismissed. But I wonder if there really were not a couple of arabic men along with McV. and his cohort Nichols... I think and have thought it needed more investigation.

This doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone remember?

It makes sense if the Bush administration had made the decision to not let the Clinton cover-up of the OKC bombing out of the bag. I believe they made that decision and Ashcroft was just doing his job.

Now the question is: Will the 9-11 WTC attack make Bush change his mind? It might. This could be the start of it. But don't count on the major media to follow the small U.S. News and World Report lead. Only Bush can put this on the street. It is up to him.

Possible.

Stephen Jones, ex-McVeigh atty., would endorse this view, probably.

AKAL Security also known as Worldwide Security have contracts to provide security at a majority of the federal courthouses in the U.S. They also provide the security at several U.S. airports, including Jacksonville International. In the past, they had the contract for both Houston airports, however, I do not know if they still have the contract now.

I don't know who has Houston either, but here's what I have on current airport security. The biggest player seems to be Argenbright Security

The government also alleged that Argenbright had violated FAA regulations at 13 airports, including Dulles International outside Washington, Logan in Boston, New York's LaGuardia, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

Evidence of Iraqi involvement would have meant that x42 would have had to take action and be a commander

He and his cronies, in and out of hollywierd and the media, could not have blamed Rush Limbaugh and the rest of us Vast Right Wing Conspirators. Wouldn't have done a thing for "gun control" either.

Think it's time the FBI paid a little visit to the Springfield Quick-E-Mart and had a chat with Apu ?

I belive Apu is of Indian origin. The Indians, in general, are not exactly fond of Muslims, especially Pakistanis, but Muslims in general. Muslims conquered India, once upon a time, and ruled with an Iron fist for centuries. Indians are apparently taught all this in their schools, just as we were once taught about the Bad Old Brits. (They learn about the Bad Old Brits too of course, although their military customs, ranks, uniforms, etc, still follow the British model).

Is anyone tallying up the post-OKC bodies and mapping their relationships? How many deaths of witnesses, investigators, Asst. DA's, Governors, Military and Intelligence officials etc. have been associated with this? Just reading this thread and related links I've found 4 - and I know that's just the beginning...

"I am not sure what the answer is about the Republicans going along with the Clinton McVeigh theory"

It's called corruption. Don't forget how quickly John Ashcroft (not the much despised Reno) executed Timothy McVeigh. Don'tyou find it convenient that this information is leaked AFTER McVeigh is dead? Wake up.

You asked what Iraq would have had to gain from this. One thing I know of would be the protection of the cell network Hussein (and probably others) had established. There were many people killed in the OKC bombing who would have been investigating this. Assistant US Attorney Ted Richardson was most likely murdered after the bombing because he was getting to close to the network.

here and here

Apu as Indian is a ruse... Do you really think that cartoon actors on TV are the characters they play?

The owner of the Quick-E-Mart is a Pakistani sleeper agent, and OJ Simpson will not rest until he prooves it,

"What purpose would the Clinton Justice Dept have in not making this connection back then...?"

This connection? It's connections plural. What about TWA800, Egypt Air, SwissAir, and the first WTC bombing? If you don't have a terrorist act then you don't have a terrorist problem.

But I do recall an article from a few years ago mentioning several terrorism specialists brought in to survey the damage at OKC noticed something in the chemical makeup of the explosive that was used had a residue known to be used by middle eastern terrorists.

I haven't heard that one. Can anybody find this?

What purpose would the Clinton Justice Dept have in not making this connection back then.

You know perfectly well that Klintoon was ecstatic to have this to blame on the VRWC to help him dismantle militias and boost his prospects for the 1996 election. Before that, he was floundering in his scandals, but now he had something he could blame the right for.
