McVeigh's Ghost - Top Pentagon Officials Say Iraq Involved in OKC Bombing
US News & World Report/ Fox & Friends ^ | October 23, 2001 | Paul Bedard

Some dismiss it as being akin to Elvis sightings, but a few top Defense officials think Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh was an Iraqi agent. The theory stems from a never-before-reported allegation that McVeigh had allegedly collected Iraqi telephone numbers. Why haven't we heard this before about the case of the executed McVeigh? Conspiracy theorists in the Pentagon think it's part of a coverup.

We imported the enemy to our own country? This is outrageous!

Hate to break it to you, but this is fairly well known. Something around 4000 Iraqis relocated to the OKC area after the Gulf War, some of whom were in the elite Republican Guard--Hussein's ostensibly most loyal troops. Be aware too that Schippers and others report refusal to release the Murrah surveillance camera videos, which purportedly show much beyond McVeigh.

Your points are excellent! We must also not forget that the OKC Bombing is generally considered the turning point in the Clinton Administration. Prior to that the administration was, as Helen (is she still around?) Thomas so aptly said, "going down the drain."

"...there was a herd of em in chem engineering classes... "

Back then, I took a lot of my junior year general engineering classes (ee major) at night because they tended to be taught by working engineers who knew their subjects better than the professors. The night classes were filled with Iranians looking to maintain their student visas and avoid being sent back to the ayatollah's hell hole. They were disruptive and immature and it was pretty obvious that education wasn't foremost on their minds.

If this is true, look to me that, at minimum, several people should be charged with treason if not murder.

Damn, this is truly scary stuff!!

1. Making a villian of the VRWC.

2. Using "two backwoods militia type wackos" as useful idiots to prop a wounded Presidency by being Middle America's best defense vs homegrown terrorism.

3. By not unleashing America's hatred towards the Middle East so x42 could forge a legacy as a "inclusive President" and an architect of a Israel-Pali peace.

4. By not putting Immigration policy in danger so their votes could be harvested in 1976.

Thanks for the link...It will take me a while to sort this out but it seems significant to see this in US News.

What's your take on it? Why would the Iraqi link have been hushed up?

I have to ask this ....

DONT FLAME ME!

What purpose would the Clinton Justice Dept have in not making this connection back then...

I repeat dont flame me ......just asking..

How about this: Imagine that our country is led by a spineless commie sympathizer whose main interests center around his next bout of oral sex. "Gee, he says to his self ... we've got this tailor-made, gift-wrapped atrocity tied to right-wing extremists and even though the spy guys claim possible links to Iraq that guy Saddam scares me.

"How about I declare these links to Iraq and Islamic extremists out of the Phillipines to be a top secret national security secret? Yeah, that's the ticket! National security ... Course I'll have to make a few strong statements about our "war" on terror but then its back to "business" as usual - "Hey Betty? Did you get a call in to Monica?"

Tim McVeigh was an Iraqi agent

I haven't read the entire thread yet, but I'll tell you now that I think we are getting more spin here. We already knew about the Iraqi connections, and we knew Nichols had met with the terrorists in the Phillipines. But it's a very big leap based on what we know for me to think McVeigh was an Iraqi agent. I suspect he was a US agent who was burned by his own government to coverup the mideast connection. Clinton got what he wanted and McVeigh took the fall--that's how I read it. I'll go read the rest of the thread now, but I doubt that I'll find any additional information to change my mind.

Jim Inhofe. I used to admire him alot. Besides what you mentioned, he also gave a big send off speech when Wesley Clark retired (early!). Then there was the propeller.

Thanks for this post! A few weeks ago I heard that one of the biggest terrorists cells is in the Phillipines. The flash I had was McNichols. That's where he found his wife.

:The most important unanswered question is WHY "What I'm trying to do is to promote a process of reorganization of the world ..." - President Clinton, interview with Argentine reporters, October 17, 1997. "I can tell you that the decisions we made, we made because we thought they were in the interests of the American people," -- Bill Clinton, on being asked why he signed waivers, against the Pentagon's protest, to sell Loral missile guidance systems technology to Communist China, enabling China for the first time to launch nuclear weapons. (May 18, 1998 editition of the Washington Times, front page) "There are a lot of very brilliant people who believe that the nation-state is fast becoming a relic of the past," - President Clinton, New York Times, November 25, 1997 "We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans . . . " --William J. Clinton, USA Today, March 11, 1993 Oh yeah and then there's this one. "I think that it's obvious that we can all see that as in our self-interest and as in the public interest. We want to live forever, and we're getting there. --Bill Clinton October 12, 1999

Clinton was in election mode...he'd helped the Dems to lose the House in 1994....and he was running against Bob Dole, a combat vet...if it came out that ME terrorists were involved in OKC Clinton would have had to do something serious or lose the 96 election...he wasn't up to the task...proably thought his poll numbers might go down if foreign nationals inside the US under his watch blew up Americans...instead he used the OKC as a major photo op (he felt our pain, remember?) to wipe clean from our memories the Somalia debacle (dead Americans being mutilated and dragged in the streets by bin Laden followers) and Waco (gassed and burned American babies--dead by our own government's hands).

Will Congress investigate the allegations now? Let's roll on this cover-up. Why have we tip-toed around Iraqi terror for a decade now? To make Clinton's job easier, no need to make waves.
