I see Lisa Beamer as someone who is going to really become an activist- I hope she is a Repub. The story of her meeting with President Bush as they shared tears was a very good one....I think I have it bookmarked on my profile page.....

One day she is a housewife tending to her family, the next she stands as a hero, like her husband. God is an awsome God.

Good for Mrs Beamer for being so brave! My prayers are with her and her family.

God bless her and her family. (If only the terrorist-loving "peace protesters" had 1/1000th of her courage and American spirit.)

Something to smile about this morning. Thanks.

While I was getting dressed this morning, I saw here being interviewed on TV--I think it was Fox's channel 5 in NYC. She was amazing. She talked about how the terrorists want us to be afraid, and that we all need to be strong and continue living our lives. When asked how she is dealing with the loss of her husband, she said she constantly asks God for His help with the little things, and she lets Him take care of the big picture. When they cut back to the news anchor, you could see a tear in his eye, and all he could say was, "What an amazing woman."
I think she would be a great activist. And if she's a Democrat, I'll eat this keyboard.

What a precious and dignified woman she is. What an honor to her late husband...

I doubt the news anchor has met anyone quite like Mrs. Beamer. Perhaps through her example others will follow.

It would be nice if we could find out where to donate to her memorial fund. Freepers could add generously to that fund.

The Beamers, I understand, met at Wheaton College in Illinois, which is a solid Christian college. I'd surmise that she's a conservative.
